39וַיִּטְמְא֥וּוַיִּטְמְאוּויטמאוway·yiṭ·mə·’ūThey defiled themselves בְמַעֲשֵׂיהֶ֑םבְמַעֲשֵׂיהֶםבמעשיהםḇə·ma·‘ă·śê·hemby their actions וַ֝יִּזְנוּ֗וַיִּזְנוּויזנוway·yiz·nūand prostituted themselves בְּמַֽעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃בְּמַֽעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃במעלליהםbə·ma·‘al·lê·hemby their deeds .
