Revelation 22

1ΚαὶKaiThen ἔδειξέedeixeHe showed μοιmoime ποταμὸνpotamona river ὕδατοςhydatosof the water ζωῆςzōēsof life , λαμπρὸνlampronas clear ὡςhōsas κρύσταλλονkrystalloncrystal , ἐκπορευόμενονekporeuomenonflowing ἐκekfrom τοῦtouthe θρόνουthronouthrone τοῦtou- ΘεοῦTheouof God καὶkaiand τοῦtouof the ἈρνίουArniouLamb

2ἐνendown μέσῳmesōthe middle τῆςtēsof the πλατείαςplateiasmain street αὐτῆςautēsof [the city] . καὶkai- τοῦtouof the ποταμοῦpotamouriver ἐντεῦθενenteuthenOn either side καὶkai. . . ἐκεῖθενekeithen. . . ξύλονxylonstood a tree ζωῆςzōēsof life , ποιοῦνpoiounbearing καρποὺςkarpouskinds of fruit δώδεκαdōdekatwelve κατὰkatafor μῆναmēnamonth . ἕκαστονhekastoneach ἀποδιδοῦνapodidoun[and] yielding τὸνton- καρπὸνkarponcrop αὐτοῦautou[a fresh] καὶkaiAnd τὰtathe φύλλαphyllaleaves τοῦtouof the ξύλουxyloutree εἰςeis[are] for θεραπείανtherapeian[the] healing τῶνtōnof the ἐθνῶνethnōnnations .

3ΚαὶKai- πᾶνpanany κατάθεμαkatathemacurse . οὐκoukNo ἔσταιestaiwill there be ἔτιetilonger ΚαὶKai- ὁhoThe θρόνοςthronosthrone τοῦtou- ΘεοῦTheouof God καὶkaiand τοῦtouof the ἈρνίουArniouLamb ἐνenwithin αὐτῇautē[the city] , ἔσταιestaiwill be καὶkaiand οἱhoi- δοῦλοιdouloiservants αὐτοῦautouHis λατρεύσουσινlatreusousinwill worship αὐτῷautōHim .

4καὶkai- ὄψονταιopsontaiThey will see τὸto- πρόσωπονprosōponface , αὐτοῦautouHis καὶkaiand τὸto- ὄνομαonomaname αὐτοῦautouHis ἐπὶepi[will be] on τῶνtōn- μετώπωνmetōpōnforeheads . αὐτῶνautōntheir

5καὶkai- νὺξnyxnight οὐκoukno more ἔσταιestaiThere will be ἔτιeti[in the city] , καὶkaiand οὐounot χρείαchreianecessary . λύχνουlychnouof a lamp καὶkai[or] φωτὸςphōtos- ἡλίουhēliouof [the] sun . ὅτιhotiFor ΚύριοςKyrios[the] Lord ὁho- ΘεὸςTheosGod φωτιεῖphotieiwill shine αὐτούςautousthem , καὶkaiand βασιλεύσουσινbasileusousinthey will reign εἰςeisvvv τοὺςtousvvv αἰῶναςaiōnasforever τῶνtōn[and] αἰώνωνaiōnōnever .

6ΚαὶKaiThen λέγειlegeihe said μοιmoito me , ΟὗτοιHoutoi“ These οἱhoi- λόγοιlogoiwords πιστοὶpistoi[are] faithful καὶkaiand ἀληθινοίalēthinoitrue . καὶkai- ὁhoThe ΚύριοςKyriosLord , ὁhothe ΘεὸςTheosGod τῶνtōnof the πνευμάτωνpneumatōnspirits τῶνtōnof the προφητῶνprophētōnprophets , ἀπέστειλεapesteileHe sent them out τῶνtōnof the ἄγγελονangelonangel αὐτοῦautouHis δεῖξαιdeixaito show τοῖςtois- δούλοιςdouloisservants αὐτοῦautouHis ἃhawhat δεῖdeimust γενέσθαιgenesthaitake place . ” ἐνenvvv τάχειtacheisoon

7ΚαὶKai“ - ἰδοὺidouBehold , ἔρχομαιerchomaiI am coming ταχύtachysoon . μακάριοςmakariosBlessed [is] ὁhothe [one who] τηρῶνtērōnkeeps τοὺςtousthe λόγουςlogouswords τῆςtēsof προφητείαςprophēteiasprophecy τοῦtouin βιβλίουbiblioubook . ” τούτουtoutouthis

8ΚἀγὼKagōAnd I [am] ἸωάννηςIōannēsJohn , ὁho[who] ἀκούωνakouōnheard καὶkaiand βλέπωνblepōnsaw ταῦταtautathese things . καὶkaiAnd ὅτεhotewhen ἤκουσαēkousaI had heard καὶkaiand ἔβλεψαeblepsaseen [them] , ἔπεσαepesaI fell down προσκυνῆσαιproskynēsaito worship ἔμπροσθενemprosthenat τῶνtōnthe ποδῶνpodōnfeet τοῦtouof the ἀγγέλουangelouangel τοῦtouwho δεικνύοντόςdeiknyontoshad shown μοιmoime ταῦταtautathese things .

9καὶkai[But] λέγειlegeihe said μοιmoito me , ὍραHora“ Do not do that μήmē. . . ! σύνδουλόςsyndoulosa fellow servant σούsouwith you εἰμιeimiI am καὶkaiand τῶνtōn- ἀδελφῶνadelphōnbrothers σουsouyour τῶνtōn- προφητῶνprophētōnprophets , καὶkaiand τῶνtōnwith those who τηρούντωνtērountōnkeep τοὺςtousthe λόγουςlogouswords τοῦtou- βιβλίουbiblioubook . τούτουtoutouof this τῷtō- ΘεῷTheōGod ! ” προσκύνησονproskynēsonWorship

10ΚαὶKaiThen λέγειlegeihe told μοιmoime , ΜὴMē“ vvv σφραγίσῃςsphragisēsDo not seal up τοὺςtousthe λόγουςlogouswords τῆςtēsof προφητείαςprophēteiasprophecy τοῦtou- βιβλίουbiblioubook , τούτουtoutouin this ὁhothe καιρὸςkairostime γὰρgarbecause ἐγγύςengysnear . ἐστινestinis

11ὁho{Let} the ἀδικῶνadikōnunrighteous ἀδικησάτωadikēsatōcontinue to be unrighteous ἔτιeti. . . , καὶkaiand ὁhothe ῥυπαρὸςrhyparosvile ῥυπαρευθήτωrupareuthetocontinue to be vile ἔτιeti. . . ; καὶkai{let} ὁhothe δίκαιοςdikaiosrighteous δικαιοσύνηνdikaiosynēnrighteousness , ποιησάτωpoiēsatōcontinue to practice ἔτιeti. . . καὶkaiand ὁhothe ἅγιοςhagiosholy ἁγιασθήτωhagiasthētōcontinue to be holy ἔτιeti. . . . ”

12ἸδοὺIdou“ Behold , ἔρχομαιerchomaiI am coming ταχύtachysoon , καὶkaiand ὁho- μισθόςmisthosreward μουmouMy μετ’met’[is] with ἐμοῦemouMe , ἀποδοῦναιapodounaito give ἑκάστῳhekastōto each one ὡςhōsaccording to τὸtowhat ἔργονergonhas done . ἔσταιestaimay have αὐτοῦautouhe

13ἐγὼegōI [am] τὸtothe ἃhawhat ΚαὶKai“ - τῷtō- ὁhothe ὁhothe πρῶτοςprōtosFirst καὶkaiand ὁhothe ἔσχατοςeschatosLast , ἀρχὴarchēBeginning καὶkaiand τέλοςtelosEnd . ”

14ΜακάριοιMakarioiBlessed [are] οἱhoithose who ποιοῦντεςpoiountescarry it out . ” τὰςtas- ἐντολὰςentolascommandments : αὐτοῦautouhe ἵναhinaso that ἔσταιestaimay have ἡhēthe ἐξουσίαexousiaright αὐτῶνautōnthey ἐπὶepito τὸtothe ξύλονxylontree τῆςtēs- ζωῆςzōēsof life καὶkaiand τοῖςtoisby [its] πυλῶσινpylōsingates . εἰσέλθωσινeiselthōsinmay enter εἰςeis. . . τὴνtēnthe πόλινpolincity

15ἔξωexō[But] outside [are] οἱhoithe κύνεςkynesdogs , καὶkai- οἱhoithe φάρμακοιpharmakoisorcerers , καὶkai- οἱhoithe πόρνοιpornoisexually immoral , καὶkai- οἱhoithe φονεῖςphoneismurderers , καὶkai- οἱhoithe εἰδωλολάτραιeidōlolatraiidolaters , καὶkaiand πᾶςpaseveryone who ὁhothe φιλῶνphilōnloves καὶkaiand ποιῶνpoiōnpractices ψεῦδοςpseudosfalsehood .

16ἘγὼEgō“ I , ἸησοῦςIēsousJesus , ἔπεμψαepempsahave sent τὸνton- ἄγγελόνangelonangel μουmouMy μαρτυρῆσαιmartyrēsaito give you this testimony ὑμῖνhymin. . . ταῦταtauta. . . ἐπὶepifor ταῖςtaisthe ἐκκλησίαιςekklēsiaischurches . ἐγώegōI εἰμιeimiam ἡhēthe ῥίζαrhizaRoot καὶkaiand τὸtothe γένοςgenosOffspring ΔαυίδDauidof David , ὁhothe ἀστὴρastērStar . ” ὁho- λαμπρόςlamprosbright ὁho- πρωϊνόςprōinosMorning

17ΚαὶKai- τὸtoThe ΠνεῦμαPneumaSpirit καὶkaiand ἡhēthe νύμφηnymphēbride λέγουσινlegousinsay , ἜρχουErchou“ Come ! ” καὶkai- ὁho{Let} the [one who] ἀκούωνakouōnhears εἰπάτωeipatōsay , ἜρχουErchou“ Come ! ” καὶkaiAnd ὁho{let} the [one who] διψῶνdipsōnis thirsty ἐρχέσθωerchesthōcome , καὶkaiAnd ὁho{let} the [one who] θέλωνthelōndesires λαβέτωlabetō[drink] ὕδωρhydōr[the] water ζωῆςzōēsof life δωρεάνdōreanfreely .

18ΜαρτυρῶMartyrōtestify ἐγὼegōI παντὶpantito everyone τῷtōwho ἀκούοντιakouontihears τοὺςtousthe λόγουςlogouswords τῆςtēsof προφητείαςprophēteiasprophecy τοῦtou- βιβλίουbiblioubook : τούτουtoutouin this ἐάνeanIf τιςtisanyone ἐπιθῇepithēadds ἐπὶepifor ταῦταtauta. . . ἐπιθήσειepithēseiwill add ὁho- ΘεὸςTheosGod ἐπ’ep’to αὐτὸνautonhim τὰςtasthe πληγὰςplēgasplagues τὰςtas- γεγραμμέναςgegrammenasdescribed ἐνenin τῷtō- βιβλίῳbibliōbook . τούτῳtoutōthis

19καὶkaiAnd ἐάνeanif τιςtisanyone ἀφέλῃaphelētakes away ἀπὸapofrom τῶνtōnthe λόγωνlogōnwords τοῦtou- βιβλίουbiblioubook τῆςtēs- προφητείαςprophēteiasof prophecy , ταύτηςtautēsof this ἀφελεῖapheleiwill take away ὁho- ΘεὸςTheosGod τὸto- μέροςmerosshare αὐτοῦautouhis ἀπὸapoin τοῦtouthe ξύλουxyloutree τῆςtēs- ζωῆςzōēsof life καὶkaiand ἐκek- τῆςtēsthe πόλεωςpoleōscity , τῆςtēs- ἁγίαςhagiasholy τῶνtōnwhich [are] γεγραμμένωνgegrammenōndescribed ἐνenin τῷtō- βιβλίῳbibliōbook . τούτῳtoutōthis

20ΛέγειLegeisays , ὁhoHe who μαρτυρῶνmartyrōntestifies to ταῦταtautathese things ΝαίNai“ Yes , ἔρχομαιerchomaiI am coming ταχύtachysoon . ” ἈμήνAmēnAmen . ΝαίNai“ Yes , ἔρχουerchouCome , ΚύριεKyrieLord ἸησοῦIēsouJesus !

21ἡhēthe χάριςcharisis to be commended . τοῦtou- ΚυρίουKyriouof [the] Lord ἸησοῦIēsouJesus ! ΧριστοῦChristouChrist’s μετὰmetawith πάντωνpantōnevery way τῶνtōnwhich [are] ἅγιονhagiona holy ἈμήνAmēnAmen .
