1ΠολυμερῶςPolymerōsoccasions καὶkaiand πολυτρόπωςpolytropōsin many different ways , πάλαιpalailong ago , ὁho- ΘεὸςTheosGod λαλήσαςlalēsasspoke τοῖςtoisto [our] πατράσινpatrasinfathers ἐνenthrough τοῖςtoisthe προφήταιςprophētaisprophets . ἐπ’ep’But in ἐσχάτουeschatoulast τῶνtōn- ἡμερῶνhēmerōndays τούτωνtoutōnthese ἐλάλησενelalēsenHe has spoken ἡμῖνhēminto us ἐνenby ΥἱῷHuiō[His] Son ,
2ὃνhonwhom ἔθηκεethekelaid κληρονόμονklēronomonheir πάντωνpantōnof all things , δι’di’through οὗhouwhom καὶkaiand τοὺςtousthe αἰῶναςaiōnasuniverse . ἐποίησενepoiēsenHe made
3ὃςhos[The Son] ὢνōnis ἀπαύγασμαapaugasma[the] radiance τῆςtēsof [God’s] δόξηςdoxēsglory καὶkaiand χαρακτὴρcharaktēr[the] exact representation τῆςtēsof ὑποστάσεωςhypostaseōsnature , αὐτοῦautouHis φέρωνpherōnupholding τεte- τὰta- πάνταpantaall things τῷtōby ῥήματιrhēmatiword . τῆςtēsvvv δυνάμεωςdynameōspowerful αὐτοῦautouHis ‹δι’›di’[After] ἑαυτοῦheautouhis καθαρισμὸνkatharismonpurification ποιησάμενοςpoiēsamenosHe had provided τῶνtōn- ἁμαρτιῶνhamartiōnfor sins , ἡμῶνhēmōnour ἐκάθισενekathisenHe sat down ἐνenat δεξιᾷdexia[the] right hand τῆςtēsof the ΜεγαλωσύνηςMegalōsynēsMajesty ἐνenon ὑψηλοῖςhypsēloishigh .
4τοσούτῳtosoutōas far κρείττωνkreittōnsuperior γενόμενοςgenomenos[So] He became τῶνtōnto the ἀγγέλωνangelōnangels ὅσῳhosōas διαφορώτερονdiaphorōteron[is] excellent παρ’par’beyond αὐτοὺςautoustheirs . κεκληρονόμηκενkeklēronomēkenHe has inherited ὄνομαonoma[the] name
5ΤίνιTinito which γὰρgarFor εἰπὲeipesay ποτεpotevvv τῶνtōnof the ἀγγέλωνangelōnangels ΥἱόςHuiosSon ; μουmouMy εἶeiare σύsy“ You ἐγὼegōI σήμερονsēmerontoday γεγέννηκάgegennēkahave become Your Father σεse. . . ” ? ΚαὶKai[Or] πάλινpalinagain : ἘγὼEgō“ I ἔσομαιesomaiwill be αὐτῷautōHis εἰςeis- ΠατέραPateraFather , καὶkaiand αὐτὸςautosHe ἔσταιestaiwill be μοιmoiMy εἰςeis- ΥἱόνHuionSon ” ?
6ὍτανHotanwhen δὲdeAnd πάλινpalinagain , εἰσαγάγῃeisagagē[God] brings τὸνton[His] πρωτότοκονprōtotokonfirstborn εἰςeisinto τὴνtēnthe οἰκουμένηνoikoumenēnworld , λέγειlegeiHe says : ΚαὶKai- προσκυνησάτωσανproskynēsatōsanworship αὐτῷautōHim .” πάντεςpantes“ {Let} all ἄγγελοιangeloiangels ΘεοῦTheouGod’s
7ΚαὶKai- πρὸςprosabout μὲνmen. . . τοὺςtousthe ἀγγέλουςangelousangels λέγειlegeiHe says : ὉHo“ He ποιῶνpoiōnmakes τοὺςtous- ἀγγέλουςangelousangels αὐτοῦautouHis πνεύματαpneumatawinds , καὶkai- τοὺςtous- λειτουργοὺςleitourgousservants αὐτοῦautouHis πυρὸςpyrosof fire .” φλόγαphlogaflames
8ΠρὸςProsabout δὲdeBut τὸνtonthe ΥἱόνHuionSon [He says] : ὉHo- θρόνοςthronosthrone , σουsou“ Your ὉHo- ΘεὸςTheosGod , εἰςeis[endures] forever τὸνton. . . αἰῶναaiōna. . . τοῦtouvvv αἰῶνοςaiōnosand ever , ῥάβδοςrhabdos- εὐθύτητοςeuthytētosjustice [is] ἡhē- ῥάβδοςrhabdos- τῆςtēs- βασιλείαςbasileiaskingdom . σου*souYour
9ἠγάπησαςēgapēsasYou have loved δικαιοσύνηνdikaiosynēnrighteousness καὶkaiand ἐμίσησαςemisēsashated ἀνομίανanomianwickedness ; διὰdiatherefore τοῦτοtouto. . . ἔχρισέekhriseHe has anointed σεseYou ὁho- ΘεόςTheosGod , ὁho- ΘεόςTheosGod , σουsouYour ἔλαιονelaionwith [the] oil ἀγαλλιάσεωςagalliaseōsof joy .” παρὰparaabove τοὺςtous- μετόχουςmetochouscompanions σουsouYour
10ΚαίKaiAnd : ΣὺSyYou κατ’kat’“ In ἀρχάςarchas[the] beginning , ΚύριεKyrieO Lord , τὴνtēnof the γῆνgēnearth , ἐθεμελίωσαςethemeliōsaslaid the foundations καὶkaiand ἔργαerga[the] work τῶνtōnof χειρῶνcheirōnhands . σούsouYour εἰσινeisinare οἱhoithe οὐρανοίouranoiheavens
11αὐτοὶautoiThey ἀπολοῦνταιapolountaiwill perish , σὺsyYou δὲdebut διαμένειςdiameneisremain ; καὶkai- πάντεςpantesvvv ὡςhōslike ἱμάτιονhimationa garment . παλαιωθήσονταιpalaiōthēsontaithey will all wear out
12καὶkai- ὡσεὶhōseilike περιβόλαιονperibolaiona robe ; ἑλίξειςhelixeisYou will roll them up αὐτούςautous. . . καὶkai- ἀλλαγήσονταιallagēsontaithey will be changed ; σὺsyYou δὲdebut ὁhothe αὐτὸςautossame , εἶeiremain καὶkaiand τὰta- ἔτηetēyears σουsouYour οὐκoukvvv ἐκλείψουσι.ekleipsousiwill never end .”
13ΠρὸςProsto τίναtinawhich δὲdeYet τῶνtōnof the ἀγγέλωνangelōnangels εἴρηκέeirekehas said : ποτεpotevvv ΚάθουKathou“ Sit ἐκekat δεξιῶνdexiōnright hand μουmouMy ἕωςheōsuntil ἂνan. . . θῶthōI make τοὺςtous- ἐχθρούςechthrousenemies σουsouYour ὑποπόδιονhypopodiona footstool τῶνtōnfor ποδῶνpodōnfeet ” ? σουsouYour
14ΟὐχὶOuchinot πάντεςpantes[the angels] εἰσὶeisiare λειτουργικὰleitourgikaministering πνεύματαpneumataspirits εἰςeis- διακονίανdiakonianto serve ἀποστελλόμεναapostellomenasent διὰdia. . . τοὺςtousthose who μέλλονταςmellontaswill κληρονομεῖνklēronomeininherit σωτηρίανsōtēriansalvation ?
