1וַיְדַבֵּ֥רוַיְדַבֵּרוידברway·ḏab·bêrsaid יְהוָ֖היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehThen the LORD אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-to מֹשֶׁ֥המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehMoses לֵּאמֹֽר׃לֵּאמֹֽר׃לאמרlê·mōr. . . ,
2קַ֤חקַחקחqaḥ“ Take אֶֽת־אֶֽת־את’eṯ-- אַהֲרֹן֙אַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnAaron וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-and בָּנָ֣יובָּנָיובניוbā·nāwhis sons אִתּ֔וֹאִתּוֹאתו’it·tōw- , וְאֵת֙וְאֵתואתwə·’êṯ- הַבְּגָדִ֔יםהַבְּגָדִיםהבגדיםhab·bə·ḡā·ḏîmtheir garments , וְאֵ֖תוְאֵתואתwə·’êṯ- שֶׁ֣מֶןשֶׁמֶןשמןše·menoil , הַמִּשְׁחָ֑ההַמִּשְׁחָההמשחהham·miš·ḥāhthe anointing וְאֵ֣ת׀וְאֵת׀ואתwə·’êṯ- פַּ֣רפַּרפרparthe bull הַֽחַטָּ֗אתהַֽחַטָּאתהחטאתha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯof the sin offering , וְאֵת֙וְאֵתואתwə·’êṯ- שְׁנֵ֣ישְׁנֵישניšə·nêthe two הָֽאֵילִ֔יםהָֽאֵילִיםהאיליםhā·’ê·lîmrams , וְאֵ֖תוְאֵתואתwə·’êṯ- סַ֥לסַלסלsaland the basket הַמַּצּֽוֹת׃הַמַּצּֽוֹת׃המצותham·maṣ·ṣō·wṯof unleavened bread ,
3וְאֵ֥תוְאֵתואתwə·’êṯ- כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-the whole הָעֵדָ֖ההָעֵדָההעדהhā·‘ê·ḏāhcongregation הַקְהֵ֑להַקְהֵלהקהלhaq·hêland assemble אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-at פֶּ֖תַחפֶּתַחפתחpe·ṯaḥthe entrance אֹ֥הֶלאֹהֶלאהל’ō·helto the Tent מוֹעֵֽד׃מוֹעֵֽד׃מועדmō·w·‘êḏof Meeting . ”
4וַיַּ֣עַשׂוַיַּעַשׂויעשway·ya·‘aśdid מֹשֶׁ֔המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehSo Moses כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛רכַּֽאֲשֶׁרכאשרka·’ă·šeras צִוָּ֥הצִוָּהצוהṣiw·wāhhad commanded him , יְהוָ֖היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD אֹת֑וֹאֹתוֹאתו’ō·ṯōw- וַתִּקָּהֵל֙וַתִּקָּהֵלותקהלwat·tiq·qā·hêlgathered הָֽעֵדָ֔ההָֽעֵדָההעדהhā·‘ê·ḏāhand the assembly אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-at פֶּ֖תַחפֶּתַחפתחpe·ṯaḥthe entrance אֹ֥הֶלאֹהֶלאהל’ō·helto the Tent מוֹעֵֽד׃מוֹעֵֽד׃מועדmō·w·‘êḏof Meeting .
5וַיֹּ֥אמֶרוַיֹּאמֶרויאמרway·yō·mersaid מֹשֶׁ֖המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehAnd Moses אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-to them הָעֵדָ֑ההָעֵדָההעדהhā·‘ê·ḏāh. . . , זֶ֣הזֶהזהzeh“ This הַדָּבָ֔רהַדָּבָרהדברhad·dā·ḇār. . . אֲשֶׁר־אֲשֶׁר־אשר’ă·šer-is what צִוָּ֥הצִוָּהצוהṣiw·wāhhas commanded יְהוָ֖היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃לעשותla·‘ă·śō·wṯto be done . ”
6וַיַּקְרֵ֣בוַיַּקְרֵבויקרבway·yaq·rêḇpresented מֹשֶׁ֔המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehThen Moses אֶֽת־אֶֽת־את’eṯ-- אַהֲרֹ֖ןאַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnAaron וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- בָּנָ֑יובָּנָיובניוbā·nāwand his sons וַיִּרְחַ֥ץוַיִּרְחַץוירחץway·yir·ḥaṣand washed אֹתָ֖םאֹתָםאתם’ō·ṯāmthem בַּמָּֽיִם׃בַּמָּֽיִם׃במיםbam·mā·yimwith water .
7וַיִּתֵּ֨ןוַיִּתֵּןויתןway·yit·tênHe put עָלָ֜יועָלָיועליו‘ā·lāwon Aaron , אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הַכֻּתֹּ֗נֶתהַכֻּתֹּנֶתהכתנתhak·kut·tō·neṯthe tunic וַיַּחְגֹּ֤רוַיַּחְגֹּרויחגרway·yaḥ·gōraround him , אֹתוֹ֙אֹתוֹאתו’ō·ṯōw- בָּֽאַבְנֵ֔טבָּֽאַבְנֵטבאבנטbā·’aḇ·nêṭtied the sash וַיַּלְבֵּ֤שׁוַיַּלְבֵּשׁוילבשway·yal·bêšclothed אֹתוֹ֙אֹתוֹאתו’ō·ṯōw- אֶֽת־אֶֽת־את’eṯ-him הַמְּעִ֔ילהַמְּעִילהמעילham·mə·‘îlwith the robe , וַיִּתֵּ֥ןוַיִּתֵּןויתןway·yit·tênand put עָלָ֖יועָלָיועליו‘ā·lāwon him . אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הָאֵפֹ֑דהָאֵפֹדהאפדhā·’ê·p̄ōḏthe ephod וַיַּחְגֹּ֣רוַיַּחְגֹּרויחגרway·yaḥ·gōraround אֹת֗וֹאֹתוֹאתו’ō·ṯōwhim בְּחֵ֙שֶׁב֙בְּחֵשֶׁבבחשבbə·ḥê·šeḇHe tied the woven band הָֽאֵפֹ֔דהָֽאֵפֹדהאפדhā·’ê·p̄ōḏof the ephod וַיֶּאְפֹּ֥דוַיֶּאְפֹּדויאפדway·ye’·pōḏand fastened it ל֖וֹלוֹלוlōwto him בּֽוֹ׃בּֽוֹ׃בוbōw.
8וַיָּ֥שֶׂםוַיָּשֶׂםוישםway·yā·śemThen he put עָלָ֖יועָלָיועליו‘ā·lāwon אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-him הַחֹ֑שֶׁןהַחֹשֶׁןהחשןha·ḥō·šenthe breastpiece וַיִּתֵּן֙וַיִּתֵּןויתןway·yit·tênand placed אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-in הַחֹ֔שֶׁןהַחֹשֶׁןהחשןha·ḥō·šenthe breastpiece . אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הָאוּרִ֖יםהָאוּרִיםהאוריםhā·’ū·rîmthe Urim וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- הַתֻּמִּֽים׃הַתֻּמִּֽים׃התמיםhat·tum·mîmand Thummim
9וַיָּ֥שֶׂםוַיָּשֶׂםוישםway·yā·śem[Moses] also put אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הַמִּצְנֶ֖פֶתהַמִּצְנֶפֶתהמצנפתham·miṣ·ne·p̄eṯthe turban עַל־עַל־על‘al-on רֹאשׁ֑וֹרֹאשׁוֹראשוrō·šōw[Aaron’s] head וַיָּ֨שֶׂםוַיָּשֶׂםוישםway·yā·śemand set עַֽל־עַֽל־על‘al-. . . הַמִּצְנֶ֜פֶתהַמִּצְנֶפֶתהמצנפתham·miṣ·ne·p̄eṯof the turban , אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-on מ֣וּלמוּלמולmūlthe front פָּנָ֗יופָּנָיופניוpā·nāw. . . אֵ֣תאֵתאת’êṯ- צִ֤יץצִיץציץṣîṣplate , הַזָּהָב֙הַזָּהָבהזהבhaz·zā·hāḇthe gold נֵ֣זֶרנֵזֶרנזרnê·zerdiadem , הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁהַקֹּדֶשׁהקדשhaq·qō·ḏešthe holy כַּאֲשֶׁ֛רכַּאֲשֶׁרכאשרka·’ă·šeras צִוָּ֥הצִוָּהצוהṣiw·wāhhad commanded יְהוָ֖היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- מֹשֶֽׁה׃מֹשֶֽׁה׃משהmō·šeh[him] .
10וַיִּקַּ֤חוַיִּקַּחויקחway·yiq·qaḥtook מֹשֶׁה֙מֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehNext, Moses אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- שֶׁ֣מֶןשֶׁמֶןשמןše·menoil הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ההַמִּשְׁחָההמשחהham·miš·ḥāhthe anointing וַיִּמְשַׁ֥חוַיִּמְשַׁחוימשחway·yim·šaḥand anointed אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ןהַמִּשְׁכָּןהמשכןham·miš·kānthe tabernacle וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-and everything אֲשֶׁר־אֲשֶׁר־אשר’ă·šer-- בּ֑וֹבּוֹבוbōwin it ; וַיְקַדֵּ֖שׁוַיְקַדֵּשׁויקדשway·qad·dêšand so he consecrated אֹתָֽם׃אֹתָֽם׃אתם’ō·ṯāmthem .
11וַיַּ֥זוַיַּזויזway·yazHe sprinkled מִמֶּ֛נּוּמִמֶּנּוּממנוmim·men·nūsome of עַל־עַל־על‘al-the oil on הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַהַמִּזְבֵּחַהמזבחham·miz·bê·aḥthe altar שֶׁ֣בַעשֶׁבַעשבעše·ḇa‘seven פְּעָמִ֑יםפְּעָמִיםפעמיםpə·‘ā·mîmtimes , וַיִּמְשַׁ֨חוַיִּמְשַׁחוימשחway·yim·šaḥanointing אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הַמִּזְבֵּ֜חַהַמִּזְבֵּחַהמזבחham·miz·bê·aḥthe altar וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-and all כֵּלָ֗יוכֵּלָיוכליוkê·lāwits utensils , וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- הַכִּיֹּ֛רהַכִּיֹּרהכירhak·kî·yōrand the basin וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- כַּנּ֖וֹכַּנּוֹכנוkan·nōwwith its stand , לְקַדְּשָֽׁם׃לְקַדְּשָֽׁם׃לקדשםlə·qad·də·šāmto consecrate them .
12וַיִּצֹק֙וַיִּצֹקויצקway·yi·ṣōqHe also poured מִשֶּׁ֣מֶןמִשֶּׁמֶןמשמןmiš·še·menoil הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ההַמִּשְׁחָההמשחהham·miš·ḥāhsome of the anointing עַ֖לעַלעל‘alon רֹ֣אשׁרֹאשׁראשrōšhead אַהֲרֹ֑ןאַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnAaron’s וַיִּמְשַׁ֥חוַיִּמְשַׁחוימשחway·yim·šaḥand anointed אֹת֖וֹאֹתוֹאתו’ō·ṯōwhim לְקַדְּשֽׁוֹ׃לְקַדְּשֽׁוֹ׃לקדשוlə·qad·də·šōwto consecrate him .
13וַיַּקְרֵ֨בוַיַּקְרֵבויקרבway·yaq·rêḇpresented מֹשֶׁ֜המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehThen Moses אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- בְּנֵ֣יבְּנֵיבניbə·nêsons , אַהֲרֹ֗ןאַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnAaron’s וַיַּלְבִּשֵׁ֤םוַיַּלְבִּשֵׁםוילבשםway·yal·bi·šêmput כֻּתֳּנֹת֙כֻּתֳּנֹתכתנתkut·to·nōṯtunics on them , וַיַּחְגֹּ֤רוַיַּחְגֹּרויחגרway·yaḥ·gōraround them , אֹתָם֙אֹתָםאתם’ō·ṯām- אַבְנֵ֔טאַבְנֵטאבנט’aḇ·nêṭwrapped sashes וַיַּחֲבֹ֥שׁוַיַּחֲבֹשׁויחבשway·ya·ḥă·ḇōšand tied לָהֶ֖םלָהֶםלהםlā·hemon them , מִגְבָּע֑וֹתמִגְבָּעוֹתמגבעותmiḡ·bā·‘ō·wṯheadbands כַּאֲשֶׁ֛רכַּאֲשֶׁרכאשרka·’ă·šerjust as צִוָּ֥הצִוָּהצוהṣiw·wāhhad commanded יְהוָ֖היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- מֹשֶֽׁה׃מֹשֶֽׁה׃משהmō·šeh[him] .
14וַיַּגֵּ֕שׁוַיַּגֵּשׁויגשway·yag·gêšnear אֵ֖תאֵתאת’êṯ- פַּ֣רפַּרפרpar[Moses] then brought the bull הַֽחַטָּ֑אתהַֽחַטָּאתהחטאתha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯfor the sin offering , וַיִּסְמֹ֨ךְוַיִּסְמֹךְויסמךway·yis·mōḵlaid אַהֲרֹ֤ןאַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnand Aaron וּבָנָיו֙וּבָנָיוובניוū·ḇā·nāwand his sons אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- יְדֵיהֶ֔םיְדֵיהֶםידיהםyə·ḏê·hemtheir hands עַל־עַל־על‘al-on רֹ֖אשׁרֹאשׁראשrōšits head פַּ֥רפַּרפרpar- הַֽחַטָּֽאת׃הַֽחַטָּֽאת׃החטאתha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ- .
15וַיִּשְׁחָ֗טוַיִּשְׁחָטוישחטway·yiš·ḥāṭslaughtered [the bull] , וַיִּקַּ֨חוַיִּקַּחויקחway·yiq·qaḥtook מֹשֶׁ֤המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehMoses אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הַדָּם֙הַדָּםהדםhad·dāmsome of the blood , וַ֠יִּתֵּןוַיִּתֵּןויתןway·yit·tênand applied עַל־עַל־על‘al-to קַרְנ֨וֹתקַרְנוֹתקרנותqar·nō·wṯhorns הַמִּזְבֵּ֤חַהַמִּזְבֵּחַהמזבחham·miz·bê·aḥof the altar , סָבִיב֙סָבִיבסביבsā·ḇîḇall [four] בְּאֶצְבָּע֔וֹבְּאֶצְבָּעוֹבאצבעוbə·’eṣ·bā·‘ōwit with his finger וַיְחַטֵּ֖אוַיְחַטֵּאויחטאway·ḥaṭ·ṭêpurifying אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַהַמִּזְבֵּחַהמזבחham·miz·bê·aḥthe altar . וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- הַדָּ֗םהַדָּםהדםhad·dāmthe rest of the blood יָצַק֙יָצַקיצקyā·ṣaqHe poured out אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-at יְס֣וֹדיְסוֹדיסודyə·sō·wḏthe base הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַהַמִּזְבֵּחַהמזבחham·miz·bê·aḥof the altar וַֽיְקַדְּשֵׁ֖הוּוַֽיְקַדְּשֵׁהוּויקדשהוway·qad·də·šê·hūand consecrated it לְכַפֵּ֥רלְכַפֵּרלכפרlə·ḵap·pêrso that atonement could be made עָלָֽיו׃עָלָֽיו׃עליו‘ā·lāwon it .
16וַיִּקַּ֗חוַיִּקַּחויקחway·yiq·qaḥtook אֶֽת־אֶֽת־את’eṯ-- כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-all הַחֵלֶב֮הַחֵלֶבהחלבha·ḥê·leḇthe fat אֲשֶׁ֣ראֲשֶׁראשר’ă·šerthat עַל־עַל־על‘al-was on הַקֶּרֶב֒הַקֶּרֶבהקרבhaq·qe·reḇthe entrails , וְאֵת֙וְאֵתואתwə·’êṯ- יֹתֶ֣רֶתיֹתֶרֶתיתרתyō·ṯe·reṯthe lobe הַכָּבֵ֔דהַכָּבֵדהכבדhak·kā·ḇêḏof the liver , וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- שְׁתֵּ֥ישְׁתֵּישתיšə·têand both הַכְּלָיֹ֖תהַכְּלָיֹתהכליתhak·kə·lā·yōṯkidneys וְאֶֽת־וְאֶֽת־ואתwə·’eṯ-and חֶלְבְּהֶ֑ןחֶלְבְּהֶןחלבהןḥel·bə·hentheir fat , וַיַּקְטֵ֥רוַיַּקְטֵרויקטרway·yaq·ṭêrand burned [it all] מֹשֶׁ֖המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehMoses also הַמִּזְבֵּֽחָה׃הַמִּזְבֵּֽחָה׃המזבחהham·miz·bê·ḥāhon the altar .
17וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-But הַפָּ֤רהַפָּרהפרhap·pārthe bull וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- עֹרוֹ֙עֹרוֹערו‘ō·rōwwith its hide , וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- בְּשָׂר֣וֹבְּשָׂרוֹבשרוbə·śā·rōwflesh , וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- פִּרְשׁ֔וֹפִּרְשׁוֹפרשוpir·šōwand dung שָׂרַ֣ףשָׂרַףשרףśā·rap̄he burned בָּאֵ֔שׁבָּאֵשׁבאשbā·’êš. . . מִח֖וּץמִחוּץמחוץmi·ḥūṣoutside לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑הלַֽמַּחֲנֶהלמחנהlam·ma·ḥă·nehthe camp , כַּאֲשֶׁ֛רכַּאֲשֶׁרכאשרka·’ă·šeras צִוָּ֥הצִוָּהצוהṣiw·wāhhad commanded יְהוָ֖היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- מֹשֶֽׁה׃מֹשֶֽׁה׃משהmō·šeh[him] .
18וַיַּקְרֵ֕בוַיַּקְרֵבויקרבway·yaq·rêḇThen [Moses] presented אֵ֖תאֵתאת’êṯ- אֵ֣ילאֵילאיל’êlthe ram הָעֹלָ֑ההָעֹלָההעלהhā·‘ō·lāhfor the burnt offering , וַֽיִּסְמְכ֞וּוַֽיִּסְמְכוּויסמכוway·yis·mə·ḵūlaid אַהֲרֹ֧ןאַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnand Aaron וּבָנָ֛יווּבָנָיוובניוū·ḇā·nāwand his sons אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- יְדֵיהֶ֖םיְדֵיהֶםידיהםyə·ḏê·hemtheir hands עַל־עַל־על‘al-on רֹ֥אשׁרֹאשׁראשrōšits head הָאָֽיִל׃הָאָֽיִל׃האילhā·’ā·yil- .
19וַיִּשְׁחָ֑טוַיִּשְׁחָטוישחטway·yiš·ḥāṭslaughtered [the ram] וַיִּזְרֹ֨קוַיִּזְרֹקויזרקway·yiz·rōqand sprinkled מֹשֶׁ֧המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehMoses אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הַדָּ֛םהַדָּםהדםhad·dāmthe blood עַל־עַל־על‘al-of הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַהַמִּזְבֵּחַהמזבחham·miz·bê·aḥthe altar . סָבִֽיב׃סָבִֽיב׃סביבsā·ḇîḇon all sides
20וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- הָאַ֔יִלהָאַיִלהאילhā·’a·yilthe ram נִתַּ֖חנִתַּחנתחnit·taḥcut לִנְתָחָ֑יולִנְתָחָיולנתחיוlin·ṯā·ḥāwinto pieces וַיַּקְטֵ֤רוַיַּקְטֵרויקטרway·yaq·ṭêrand burned מֹשֶׁה֙מֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šeh[He] אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הָרֹ֔אשׁהָרֹאשׁהראשhā·rōšthe head , וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- הַנְּתָחִ֖יםהַנְּתָחִיםהנתחיםhan·nə·ṯā·ḥîmthe pieces , וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- הַפָּֽדֶר׃הַפָּֽדֶר׃הפדרhap·pā·ḏerand the fat .
21וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- הַקֶּ֥רֶבהַקֶּרֶבהקרבhaq·qe·reḇthe entrails וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- הַכְּרָעַ֖יִםהַכְּרָעַיִםהכרעיםhak·kə·rā·‘a·yimand legs רָחַ֣ץרָחַץרחץrā·ḥaṣHe washed בַּמָּ֑יִםבַּמָּיִםבמיםbam·mā·yimwith water וַיַּקְטֵר֩וַיַּקְטֵרויקטרway·yaq·ṭêrand burned מֹשֶׁ֨המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šeh- אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-the entire הָאַ֜יִלהָאַיִלהאילhā·’a·yilram הַמִּזְבֵּ֗חָההַמִּזְבֵּחָההמזבחהham·miz·bê·ḥāhon the altar עֹלָ֨העֹלָהעלה‘ō·lāhas a burnt offering , ה֤וּאהוּאהואhū- לְרֵֽיחַ־לְרֵֽיחַ־לריחlə·rê·aḥ-aroma , נִיחֹ֙חַ֙נִיחֹחַניחחnî·ḥō·aḥa pleasing אִשֶּׁ֥האִשֶּׁהאשה’iš·šehan offering made by fire הוּא֙הוּאהואhū. . . לַיהוָ֔הלַיהוָהליהוהYah·wehto the LORD , כַּאֲשֶׁ֛רכַּאֲשֶׁרכאשרka·’ă·šerjust as צִוָּ֥הצִוָּהצוהṣiw·wāhhad commanded יְהוָ֖היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- מֹשֶֽׁה׃מֹשֶֽׁה׃משהmō·šehMoses .
22וַיַּקְרֵב֙וַיַּקְרֵבויקרבway·yaq·rêḇAfter that, [Moses] presented אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הָאַ֣יִלהָאַיִלהאילhā·’a·yilram , הַשֵּׁנִ֔יהַשֵּׁנִיהשניhaš·šê·nîthe other אֵ֖ילאֵילאיל’êlthe ram הַמִּלֻּאִ֑יםהַמִּלֻּאִיםהמלאיםham·mil·lu·’îmof ordination , וַֽיִּסְמְכ֞וּוַֽיִּסְמְכוּויסמכוway·yis·mə·ḵūlaid אַהֲרֹ֧ןאַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnand Aaron וּבָנָ֛יווּבָנָיוובניוū·ḇā·nāwand his sons אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- יְדֵיהֶ֖םיְדֵיהֶםידיהםyə·ḏê·hemtheir hands עַל־עַל־על‘al-on רֹ֥אשׁרֹאשׁראשrōšhead . הָאָֽיִל׃הָאָֽיִל׃האילhā·’ā·yil[its]
23וַיִּשְׁחָ֑טוַיִּשְׁחָטוישחטway·yiš·ḥāṭslaughtered [the ram] וַיִּקַּ֗חוַיִּקַּחויקחway·yiq·qaḥtook מֹשֶׁ֖המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehMoses also מִדָּמ֔וֹמִדָּמוֹמדמוmid·dā·mōwsome of its blood וַיִּתֵּ֛ןוַיִּתֵּןויתןway·yit·tênand put עַל־עַל־על‘al-it on תְּנ֥וּךְתְּנוּךְתנוךtə·nūḵearlobe אֹֽזֶן־אֹֽזֶן־אזן’ō·zen-. . . , אַהֲרֹ֖ןאַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnAaron’s הַיְמָנִ֑יתהַיְמָנִיתהימניתhay·mā·nîṯright וְעַל־וְעַל־ועלwə·‘al-on בֹּ֤הֶןבֹּהֶןבהןbō·henthe thumb יָדוֹ֙יָדוֹידוyā·ḏōwhand , הַיְמָנִ֔יתהַיְמָנִיתהימניתhay·mā·nîṯof his right וְעַל־וְעַל־ועלwə·‘al-and on בֹּ֥הֶןבֹּהֶןבהןbō·henthe big toe רַגְל֖וֹרַגְלוֹרגלוraḡ·lōwfoot . הַיְמָנִֽית׃הַיְמָנִֽית׃הימניתhay·mā·nîṯof his right
24וַיַּקְרֵ֞בוַיַּקְרֵבויקרבway·yaq·rêḇalso presented אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- בְּנֵ֣יבְּנֵיבניbə·nêsons אַהֲרֹ֗ןאַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnAaron’s וַיִּתֵּ֨ןוַיִּתֵּןויתןway·yit·tênand put מֹשֶׁ֤המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehMoses מִן־מִן־מןmin-some of הַדָּם֙הַדָּםהדםhad·dāmthe blood עַל־עַל־על‘al-on תְּנ֤וּךְתְּנוּךְתנוךtə·nūḵearlobes אָזְנָם֙אָזְנָםאזנם’ā·zə·nām. . . , הַיְמָנִ֔יתהַיְמָנִיתהימניתhay·mā·nîṯtheir right וְעַל־וְעַל־ועלwə·‘al-on בֹּ֤הֶןבֹּהֶןבהןbō·henthe thumbs יָדָם֙יָדָםידםyā·ḏāmhands , הַיְמָנִ֔יתהַיְמָנִיתהימניתhay·mā·nîṯof their right וְעַל־וְעַל־ועלwə·‘al-and on בֹּ֥הֶןבֹּהֶןבהןbō·henthe big toes רַגְלָ֖םרַגְלָםרגלםraḡ·lāmfeet . הַיְמָנִ֑יתהַיְמָנִיתהימניתhay·mā·nîṯof their right וַיִּזְרֹ֨קוַיִּזְרֹקויזרקway·yiz·rōqsprinkled מֹשֶׁ֧המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehThen [he] אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הַדָּ֛םהַדָּםהדםhad·dāmthe blood עַל־עַל־על‘al-of הַֽמִּזְבֵּ֖חַהַֽמִּזְבֵּחַהמזבחham·miz·bê·aḥthe altar . סָבִֽיב׃סָבִֽיב׃סביבsā·ḇîḇon all sides
25וַיִּקַּ֞חוַיִּקַּחויקחway·yiq·qaḥAnd [Moses] took אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הַחֵ֣לֶבהַחֵלֶבהחלבha·ḥê·leḇthe fat — וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- הָֽאַלְיָ֗ההָֽאַלְיָההאליהhā·’al·yāhthe fat tail , וְאֶֽת־וְאֶֽת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-all הַחֵלֶב֮הַחֵלֶבהחלבha·ḥê·leḇthe fat אֲשֶׁ֣ראֲשֶׁראשר’ă·šerthat עַל־עַל־על‘al-was on הַקֶּרֶב֒הַקֶּרֶבהקרבhaq·qe·reḇthe entrails , וְאֵת֙וְאֵתואתwə·’êṯ- יֹתֶ֣רֶתיֹתֶרֶתיתרתyō·ṯe·reṯthe lobe הַכָּבֵ֔דהַכָּבֵדהכבדhak·kā·ḇêḏof the liver , וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- שְׁתֵּ֥ישְׁתֵּישתיšə·têand both הַכְּלָיֹ֖תהַכְּלָיֹתהכליתhak·kə·lā·yōṯkidneys וְאֶֽת־וְאֶֽת־ואתwə·’eṯ-with their חֶלְבְּהֶ֑ןחֶלְבְּהֶןחלבהןḥel·bə·henfat — וְאֵ֖תוְאֵתואתwə·’êṯ- שׁ֥וֹקשׁוֹקשוקšō·wqthigh . הַיָּמִֽין׃הַיָּמִֽין׃הימיןhay·yā·mînas well as the right
26וּמִסַּ֨לוּמִסַּלומסלū·mis·salAnd from the basket הַמַּצּ֜וֹתהַמַּצּוֹתהמצותham·maṣ·ṣō·wṯof unleavened bread אֲשֶׁ֣ר׀אֲשֶׁר׀אשר’ă·šerthat לִפְנֵ֣ילִפְנֵילפניlip̄·nêwas before יְהוָ֗היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD , לָ֠קַחלָקַחלקחlā·qaḥhe took חַלַּ֨תחַלַּתחלתḥal·laṯcake מַצָּ֤המַצָּהמצהmaṣ·ṣāhof unleavened bread , אַחַת֙אַחַתאחת’a·ḥaṯone וְֽחַלַּ֨תוְֽחַלַּתוחלתwə·ḥal·laṯcake לֶ֥חֶםלֶחֶםלחםle·ḥemof bread שֶׁ֛מֶןשֶׁמֶןשמןše·menmade with oil , אַחַ֖תאַחַתאחת’a·ḥaṯone וְרָקִ֣יקוְרָקִיקורקיקwə·rā·qîqwafer , אֶחָ֑דאֶחָדאחד’e·ḥāḏand one וַיָּ֙שֶׂם֙וַיָּשֶׂםוישםway·yā·śemand he placed them עַל־עַל־על‘al-on הַ֣חֲלָבִ֔יםהַחֲלָבִיםהחלביםha·ḥă·lā·ḇîmthe fat portions וְעַ֖לוְעַלועלwə·‘aland on שׁ֥וֹקשׁוֹקשוקšō·wqthigh . הַיָּמִֽין׃הַיָּמִֽין׃הימיןhay·yā·mînthe right
27וַיִּתֵּ֣ןוַיִּתֵּןויתןway·yit·tênHe put אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הַכֹּ֔להַכֹּלהכלhak·kōlall [these] עַ֚לעַלעל‘alin כַּפֵּ֣יכַּפֵּיכפיkap·pêthe hands אַהֲרֹ֔ןאַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnof Aaron וְעַ֖לוְעַלועלwə·‘al. . . כַּפֵּ֣יכַּפֵּיכפיkap·pê. . . בָנָ֑יובָנָיובניוḇā·nāwand his sons וַיָּ֧נֶףוַיָּנֶףוינףway·yā·nep̄and waved אֹתָ֛םאֹתָםאתם’ō·ṯāmthem תְּנוּפָ֖התְּנוּפָהתנופהtə·nū·p̄āhas a wave offering . לִפְנֵ֥ילִפְנֵילפניlip̄·nêbefore יְהוָֽה׃יְהוָֽה׃יהוהYah·wehthe LORD
28וַיִּקַּ֨חוַיִּקַּחויקחway·yiq·qaḥtook these מֹשֶׁ֤המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehThen Moses אֹתָם֙אֹתָםאתם’ō·ṯām- מֵעַ֣למֵעַלמעלmê·‘alfrom כַּפֵּיהֶ֔םכַּפֵּיהֶםכפיהםkap·pê·hemtheir hands וַיַּקְטֵ֥רוַיַּקְטֵרויקטרway·yaq·ṭêrand burned them הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חָההַמִּזְבֵּחָההמזבחהham·miz·bê·ḥāhon the altar עַל־עַל־על‘al-with הָעֹלָ֑ההָעֹלָההעלהhā·‘ō·lāhthe burnt offering . מִלֻּאִ֥יםמִלֻּאִיםמלאיםmil·lu·’îmwas an ordination offering , הֵם֙הֵםהםhêmThis לְרֵ֣יחַלְרֵיחַלריחlə·rê·aḥaroma , נִיחֹ֔חַנִיחֹחַניחחnî·ḥō·aḥa pleasing אִשֶּׁ֥האִשֶּׁהאשה’iš·šehan offering made by fire ה֖וּאהוּאהואhū. . . לַיהוָֽה׃לַיהוָֽה׃ליהוהYah·wehto the LORD .
29וַיִּקַּ֤חוַיִּקַּחויקחway·yiq·qaḥtook מֹשֶׁה֙מֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehHe also אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הֶ֣חָזֶ֔ההֶחָזֶההחזהhe·ḥā·zehthe breast — וַיְנִיפֵ֥הוּוַיְנִיפֵהוּויניפהוway·nî·p̄ê·hūand waved תְנוּפָ֖התְנוּפָהתנופהṯə·nū·p̄āhas a wave offering , לִפְנֵ֣ילִפְנֵילפניlip̄·nêit before יְהוָ֑היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD מֵאֵ֣ילמֵאֵילמאילmê·’êlof the ram הַמִּלֻּאִ֗יםהַמִּלֻּאִיםהמלאיםham·mil·lu·’îmof ordination — לְמֹשֶׁ֤הלְמֹשֶׁהלמשהlə·mō·šehMoses’ הָיָה֙הָיָההיהhā·yāh- לְמָנָ֔הלְמָנָהלמנהlə·mā·nāhportion כַּאֲשֶׁ֛רכַּאֲשֶׁרכאשרka·’ă·šeras צִוָּ֥הצִוָּהצוהṣiw·wāhhad commanded יְהוָ֖היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- מֹשֶֽׁה׃מֹשֶֽׁה׃משהmō·šehhim .
30וַיִּקַּ֨חוַיִּקַּחויקחway·yiq·qaḥtook מֹשֶׁ֜המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehNext, Moses מִשֶּׁ֣מֶןמִשֶּׁמֶןמשמןmiš·še·menoil הַמִּשְׁחָ֗ההַמִּשְׁחָההמשחהham·miš·ḥāhthe anointing וּמִן־וּמִן־ומןū·min-some of הַדָּם֮הַדָּםהדםhad·dāmand some of the blood אֲשֶׁ֣ראֲשֶׁראשר’ă·šerthat עַל־עַל־על‘al-was on הַמִּזְבֵּחַ֒הַמִּזְבֵּחַהמזבחham·miz·bê·aḥthe altar וַיַּ֤זוַיַּזויזway·yazand sprinkled them עַֽל־עַֽל־על‘al-on אַהֲרֹן֙אַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnAaron עַל־עַל־על‘al-- בְּגָדָ֔יובְּגָדָיובגדיוbə·ḡā·ḏāwand his garments , וְעַל־וְעַל־ועלwə·‘al-and on בָּנָ֛יובָּנָיובניוbā·nāwhis sons וְעַל־וְעַל־ועלwə·‘al-. . . בִּגְדֵ֥יבִּגְדֵיבגדיbiḡ·ḏêgarments . בָנָ֖יובָנָיובניוḇā·nāwand their אִתּ֑וֹאִתּוֹאתו’it·tōw. . . וַיְקַדֵּ֤שׁוַיְקַדֵּשׁויקדשway·qad·dêšSo he consecrated אֶֽת־אֶֽת־את’eṯ-- אַהֲרֹן֙אַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnAaron אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- בְּגָדָ֔יובְּגָדָיובגדיוbə·ḡā·ḏāwand his garments , וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- בָּנָ֛יובָּנָיובניוbā·nāwas well as [Aaron’s] sons וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- בִּגְדֵ֥יבִּגְדֵיבגדיbiḡ·ḏêgarments . בָנָ֖יובָנָיובניוḇā·nāwand their אִתּֽוֹ׃אִתּֽוֹ׃אתו’it·tōw. . .
31וַיֹּ֨אמֶרוַיֹּאמֶרויאמרway·yō·mersaid מֹשֶׁ֜המֹשֶׁהמשהmō·šehAnd Moses אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-to אַהֲרֹ֣ןאַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnAaron וְאֶל־וְאֶל־ואלwə·’el-. . . בָּנָ֗יובָּנָיובניוbā·nāwand his sons , בַּשְּׁל֣וּבַּשְּׁלוּבשלוbaš·šə·lū“ Boil אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הַבָּשָׂר֮הַבָּשָׂרהבשרhab·bā·śārthe meat פֶּ֣תַחפֶּתַחפתחpe·ṯaḥat the entrance אֹ֣הֶלאֹהֶלאהל’ō·helto the Tent מוֹעֵד֒מוֹעֵדמועדmō·w·‘êḏof Meeting וְשָׁם֙וְשָׁםושםwə·šāmthere תֹּאכְל֣וּתֹּאכְלוּתאכלוtō·ḵə·lūand eat אֹת֔וֹאֹתוֹאתו’ō·ṯōw- וְאֶ֨ת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-it הַלֶּ֔חֶםהַלֶּחֶםהלחםhal·le·ḥemwith the bread אֲשֶׁ֖ראֲשֶׁראשר’ă·šerthat בְּסַ֣לבְּסַלבסלbə·salis in the basket הַמִּלֻּאִ֑יםהַמִּלֻּאִיםהמלאיםham·mil·lu·’îmof ordination offerings , כַּאֲשֶׁ֤רכַּאֲשֶׁרכאשרka·’ă·šeras צִוֵּ֙יתִי֙צִוֵּיתִיצויתיṣiw·wê·ṯîI commanded , לֵאמֹ֔רלֵאמֹרלאמרlê·mōrsaying , אַהֲרֹ֥ןאַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōn‘ Aaron וּבָנָ֖יווּבָנָיוובניוū·ḇā·nāwand his sons יֹאכְלֻֽהוּ׃יֹאכְלֻֽהוּ׃יאכלהוyō·ḵə·lu·hūare to eat it . ’
32וְהַנּוֹתָ֥רוְהַנּוֹתָרוהנותרwə·han·nō·w·ṯārthe remainder בַּבָּשָׂ֖רבַּבָּשָׂרבבשרbab·bā·śārof the meat וּבַלָּ֑חֶםוּבַלָּחֶםובלחםū·ḇal·lā·ḥemand bread . בָּאֵ֖שׁבָּאֵשׁבאשbā·’êšThen you must burn up תִּשְׂרֹֽפוּ׃תִּשְׂרֹֽפוּ׃תשרפוtiś·rō·p̄ū. . .
33וּמִפֶּתַח֩וּמִפֶּתַחומפתחū·mip·pe·ṯaḥthe entrance אֹ֨הֶלאֹהֶלאהל’ō·helto the Tent מוֹעֵ֜דמוֹעֵדמועדmō·w·‘êḏof Meeting לֹ֤אלֹאלאlōYou must not תֵֽצְאוּ֙תֵֽצְאוּתצאוṯê·ṣə·’ūgo outside שִׁבְעַ֣תשִׁבְעַתשבעתšiḇ·‘aṯfor seven יָמִ֔יםיָמִיםימיםyā·mîmdays , עַ֚דעַדעד‘aḏuntil י֣וֹםיוֹםיוםyō·wmthe days מְלֹ֔אתמְלֹאתמלאתmə·lōṯare complete ; יְמֵ֖ייְמֵיימיyə·mê. . . מִלֻּאֵיכֶ֑םמִלֻּאֵיכֶםמלאיכםmil·lu·’ê·ḵemof your ordination כִּ֚יכִּיכיkîfor שִׁבְעַ֣תשִׁבְעַתשבעתšiḇ·‘aṯit will take seven יָמִ֔יםיָמִיםימיםyā·mîmdays יְמַלֵּ֖איְמַלֵּאימלאyə·mal·lêto ordain אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- יֶדְכֶֽם׃יֶדְכֶֽם׃ידכםyeḏ·ḵemyou .
34כַּאֲשֶׁ֥רכַּאֲשֶׁרכאשרka·’ă·šerWhat עָשָׂ֖העָשָׂהעשה‘ā·śāhhas been done בַּיּ֣וֹםבַּיּוֹםביוםbay·yō·wmtoday הַזֶּ֑ההַזֶּההזהhaz·zeh- צִוָּ֧הצִוָּהצוהṣiw·wāhhas been commanded יְהוָ֛היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehby the LORD לַעֲשֹׂ֖תלַעֲשֹׂתלעשתla·‘ă·śōṯ. . . לְכַפֵּ֥רלְכַפֵּרלכפרlə·ḵap·pêrin order to make atonement עֲלֵיכֶֽם׃עֲלֵיכֶֽם׃עליכם‘ă·lê·ḵemon your behalf .
35וּפֶתַח֩וּפֶתַחופתחū·p̄e·ṯaḥat the entrance אֹ֨הֶלאֹהֶלאהל’ō·helto the Tent מוֹעֵ֜דמוֹעֵדמועדmō·w·‘êḏof Meeting תֵּשְׁב֨וּתֵּשְׁבוּתשבוtê·šə·ḇūYou must remain יוֹמָ֤םיוֹמָםיומםyō·w·māmday וָלַ֙יְלָה֙וָלַיְלָהולילהwā·lay·lāhand night שִׁבְעַ֣תשִׁבְעַתשבעתšiḇ·‘aṯfor seven יָמִ֔יםיָמִיםימיםyā·mîmdays וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֛םוּשְׁמַרְתֶּםושמרתםū·šə·mar·temand keep אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶתמִשְׁמֶרֶתמשמרתmiš·me·reṯcharge יְהוָ֖היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD’s וְלֹ֣אוְלֹאולאwə·lōso that you will not תָמ֑וּתוּתָמוּתוּתמותוṯā·mū·ṯūdie , כִּי־כִּי־כיkî-for כֵ֖ןכֵןכןḵênthis is what צֻוֵּֽיתִי׃צֻוֵּֽיתִי׃צויתיṣuw·wê·ṯîI have been commanded . ”
36וַיַּ֥עַשׂוַיַּעַשׂויעשway·ya·‘aśdid אַהֲרֹ֖ןאַהֲרֹןאהרן’a·hă·rōnSo Aaron וּבָנָ֑יווּבָנָיוובניוū·ḇā·nāwand his sons אֵ֚תאֵתאת’êṯ- כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-everything הַדְּבָרִ֔יםהַדְּבָרִיםהדבריםhad·də·ḇā·rîm. . . אֲשֶׁר־אֲשֶׁר־אשר’ă·šer-- צִוָּ֥הצִוָּהצוהṣiw·wāhhad commanded יְהוָ֖היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD בְּיַד־בְּיַד־בידbə·yaḏ-through מֹשֶֽׁה׃סמֹשֶֽׁה׃סמשהסmō·šehMoses .
