1ἈδελφοίAdelphoiBrothers , ἐὰνeanif καὶkai- προληφθῇprolephtheis caught ἄνθρωποςanthrōpossomeone ἔνenin τινιtinia παραπτώματιparaptōmatitrespass , ὑμεῖςhymeisyou οἱhoiwho are πνευματικοὶpneumatikoispiritual καταρτίζετεkatartizeteshould restore τὸνton- τοιοῦτονtoioutonhim ἐνenwith πνεύματιpneumatia spirit πρᾳότητοςpraotetosof gentleness . σκοπῶνskopōn[But] watch σεαυτόνseautonyourself , μὴmēor καὶkaialso σὺsyyou πειρασθῇςpeirasthēsmay be tempted .
2ἈλλήλωνAllēlōnone another’s τὰta- βάρηbarēburdens , βαστάζετεbastazeteCarry καὶkaialso οὕτωςhoutōsin this way ἀναπληρώσατεanaplerosateyou will fulfill τὸνtonthe νόμονnomonlaw τοῦtou- ΧριστοῦChristouof Christ .
3εἰeiIf γὰρgar- δοκεῖdokeithinks τιςtisanyone εἶναίeinaihe is τιtisomething μηδὲνmēdennothing , ὤνōnwhen he is ἑαυτόνheautonhimself . φρεναπατᾷphrenapatahe deceives
4ΤὸTo- δὲde- ἔργονergonwork . ἑαυτοῦheautouhis own δοκιμαζέτωdokimazetōshould test ἕκαστοςhekastosEach one καὶkai- τότεtoteThen εἰςeisin ἑαυτὸνheautonhimself μόνονmononalone , τὸto- καύχημαkauchēmareason to boast ἕξειhexeihe will have καὶkai- οὐκouknot εἰςeisin τὸνton- ἕτερονheteronsomeone else .
5ἕκαστοςhekastoseach one γὰρgarFor τὸto- ἴδιονidionhis own φορτίονphortionload . βαστάσειbastaseishould carry
6ΚοινωνείτωKoinōneitōmust share δὲdeNevertheless , ὁhothe one who κατηχούμενοςkatēchoumenosreceives instruction τὸνtonin the λόγονlogonword τῷtōwith [his] κατηχοῦντιkatēchountiinstructor . ἐνenin πᾶσινpasinall ἀγαθοῖςagathoisgood things
7ΜὴMē{Do} not πλανᾶσθεplanasthebe deceived : ΘεὸςTheosGod οὐou{is} not μυκτηρίζεταιmyktērizetaito be mocked . ὃhoWhatever γὰρgar- ἐὰνean. . . σπείρῃspeirēsows , ἄνθρωποςanthrōposa man τοῦτοtoutovvv καὶkaivvv θερίσειtheriseihe will reap in return .
8ὅτιhoti- ὁhoThe [one] σπείρωνspeirōnwho sows εἰςeisto please τὴνtēn- σάρκαsarkaflesh , ἑαυτοῦheautouhis ἐκekfrom τῆςtēsthe σαρκὸςsarkosflesh θερίσειtheriseiwill reap φθοράνphthorandestruction ; ὁhothe [one] δὲdebut σπείρωνspeirōnwho sows εἰςeisto please τὸtothe ΠνεῦμαPneumaSpirit , ἐκekfrom τοῦtouthe ΠνεύματοςPneumatosSpirit θερίσειtheriseiwill reap ζωὴνzōēnlife . αἰώνιονaiōnioneternal
9ΤὸTo- δὲde- καλὸνkalon[in] well-doing ποιοῦντεςpoiountes. . . , μὴmēvvv ἐκκακῶμεν·ekkakomenLet us not grow weary καιρῷkairōtime γὰρgarfor ἰδίῳidiōin due θερίσομενtherisomenwe will reap a harvest μὴmēvvv ἐκλυόμενοιeklyomenoiif we do not give up .
10ἌραAravvv οὖνounTherefore , ὡςhōsas καιρὸνkaironopportunity , ἔχομεν*echomenwe have ἐργαζώμεθαergazōmethalet us do τὸto- ἀγαθὸνagathongood πρὸςprosto πάνταςpantaseveryone , μάλισταmalistaespecially δὲdeand πρὸςprosto τοὺςtousthe οἰκείουςoikeiousfamily τῆςtēsof πίστεωςpisteōsfaith .
11ἼδετεIdeteSee πηλίκοιςpēlikois[what] large ὑμῖνhyminto you γράμμασινgrammasinletters ἔγραψαegrapsaI am using to write τῇtēwith ἐμῇemēmy own χειρίcheirihand !
12ὍσοιHosoiThose who θέλουσινthelousinwant εὐπροσωπῆσαιeuprosōpēsaito make a good impression ἐνenvvv σαρκίsarkioutwardly οὗτοιhoutoi- ἀναγκάζουσινanankazousinare trying to compel ὑμᾶςhymasyou περιτέμνεσθαιperitemnesthaito be circumcised . μόνονmonon[They] only [ do this ] ἵναhinato μὴmēavoid τῷtōfor the σταυρῷstaurōcross τοῦtou- ΧριστοῦChristouof Christ . διώκωνταιdiōkōntaipersecution
13οὐδὲoude{do} not even γὰρgarFor οἱhoithe περιτετμημένοιperitetmemenoicircumcised αὐτοὶautoithemselves , νόμονnomon[the] law φυλάσσουσινphylassousinkeep ἀλλὰallayet θέλουσινthelousinthey want ὑμᾶςhymasyou περιτέμνεσθαιperitemnesthaito be circumcised ἵναhinathat ἐνenin τῇtē- ὑμετέρᾳhymeterayour σαρκὶsarkiflesh . καυχήσωνταιkauchēsōntaithey may boast
14ἘμοὶEmoias for me , δὲdeBut μὴmē{I} never γένοιτοgenoitomay καυχᾶσθαιkauchasthaiboast , εἰeiexcept μὴmē. . . ἐνenin τῷtōthe σταυρῷstaurōcross τοῦtou- ΚυρίουKyriouLord ἡμῶνhēmōnof our ἸησοῦIēsouJesus ΧριστοῦChristouChrist , δι’di’through οὗhouwhich ἐμοὶemoito me , κόσμοςkosmos[the] world ἐσταύρωταιestaurōtaihas been crucified κἀγὼkagōand I τῷtōthe κόσμῳkosmō[to the] world .
15ἐνenin γὰρgarFor ΧριστῷChristōChrist . ἸησοῦIēsouJesus οὔτεouteneither περιτομήperitomēcircumcision τίtianything . ἰσχύειischyeihas any value οὔτεoutenor ἀκροβυστίαakrobystiauncircumcision ἀλλὰalla[What counts is] καινὴkainēa new κτίσιςktisiscreation .
16ΚαὶKai- ὅσοιhosoiall τῷtōwho κανόνιkanonirule , τούτῳtoutōby this στοιχήσουσινstoichēsousinwalk εἰρήνηeirēnēPeace ἐπ’ep’to αὐτοὺςautous- καὶkaiand ἔλεοςeleosmercy καὶkaiand ἐπὶepito τὸνtonthe ἸσραὴλIsraēlIsrael τοῦtou- ΘεοῦTheouof God .
17ΤοῦTou- λοιποῦloipouFrom now on κόπουςkopoustrouble , μοιmoime μηδεὶςmēdeis{let} no one παρεχέτωparechetōcause ἐγὼegōI γὰρgarfor τὰtathe στίγματαstigmatamarks τοῦtou- ΚυρίουKyriouLord ἸησοῦIēsouJesus ἐνenon τῷtō- σώματίsōmatibody μουmoumy βαστάζωbastazōbear
18ἩHēThe χάριςcharisgrace τοῦtou- ΚυρίουKyriouLord ἡμῶνhēmōnof our ἸησοῦIēsouJesus ΧριστοῦChristouChrist μετὰmeta[be] with τοῦtou- πνεύματοςpneumatosspirit , ὑμῶνhymōnyour ἀδελφοίadelphoibrothers . ἈμήνAmēnAmen .
