3μηδὲνmēden[Do] nothing κατὰkata- ἐριθείανeritheianselfish ambition ἡhē- κενοδοξίανkenodoxianempty pride , ἀλλὰallabut τῇtē- ταπεινοφροσύνῃtapeinophrosynēin humility ἀλλήλουςallēlousothers ἡγούμενοιhēgoumenoiconsider ὑπερέχονταςhyperechontasmore important than ἑαυτῶνheautōnyourselves .

4μὴmēnot only {to} τὰtainterests , ἑαυτῶνheautōnyour own ἕκαστοςhekastoseach σκοπεῖτεskopeitecarefully observe ἀλλὰallabut καὶkaialso τὰtato the interests ἑτέρωνheterōnof others . ἕκαστοςhekastoseach

5ΤοῦτοTouto. . . φρονείσθωphroneisthomind , ἐνenin ὑμῖνhyminyou ὃhowhich καὶkai[was] also ἐνenin ΧριστῷChristōChrist ἸησοῦIēsouJesus :

6ὋςHosWho , ἐνenin μορφῇmorphē[the] form ΘεοῦTheouof God , ὑπάρχωνhyparchōnexisting οὐχouch{did} not ἁρπαγμὸνharpagmonsomething to be grasped , ἡγήσατοhēgēsatoconsider τὸto- εἶναιeinaivvv ἴσαisaequality ΘεῷTheōwith God

7ἀλλ’all’Instead , ἑαυτὸνheautonHimself , ἐκένωσεekenoseemptied μορφὴνmorphēn[the] form δούλουdoulouof a servant , λαβώνlabōntaking ἐνenin ὁμοιώματιhomoiōmatihuman likeness ἀνθρώπωνanthrōpōn. . . . γενόμενοςgenomenosbeing made
