6καὶkaiAnd ἐθαύμαζεethaumazeHe was amazed διὰdiaat τὴνtēn- ἀπιστίανapistianunbelief . αὐτῶνautōntheir ΚαὶKaiAnd περιῆγεperiegeHe went τὰςtas- κώμαςkōmasfrom village to village , κύκλῳkyklōaround διδάσκωνdidaskōnteaching [the people] .
7ΚαὶKaiThen προσκαλεῖταιproskaleitai[Jesus] called τοὺςtousthe δώδεκαdōdekaTwelve {to Him} καὶkaiand ἤρξατοērxatobegan αὐτοὺςautous. . . ἀποστέλλεινapostelleinto send them out δύοdyotwo δύοdyotwo καὶkai- ἐδίδουedidougiving αὐτοῖςautoisthem ἐξουσίανexousianauthority τῶνtōnover πνευμάτωνpneumatōnspirits . τῶνtōn- ἀκαθάρτωνakathartōnunclean
8καὶkai- παρήγγειλενparēngeilenHe instructed αὐτοῖςautoisthem ἵναhinato μηδὲνmēdennothing αἴρωσινairōsintake εἰςeisfor ὁδὸνhodon[the] journey — εἰeibut μὴmē. . . ῥάβδονrhabdona staff μόνονmonon. . . μὴmē. . . πήρανpēranbag , μὴmēno ἄρτονartonbread , μὴmēno εἰςeisin τὴνtēntheir ζώνηνzōnēnbelts — χαλκόνchalkonmoney
9ἀλλ’all’but ὑποδεδεμένουςhypodedemenousto wear σανδάλιαsandaliasandals , καὶkai[but] μὴmēnot ἐνδεδύσθαιendedusthaiyou will wear . δύοdyoa second χιτῶναςchitōnastunic .
10ΚαὶKaiAnd ἔλεγενelegenHe told αὐτοῖςautoisthem , ὍπουHopou“ When ἐὰνean. . . εἰσέλθητεeiselthēteyou enter εἰςeis. . . οἰκίανoikiana house , ἐκεῖekeithere μένετεmenetestay ἕωςheōsuntil ἂνan. . . ἐξέλθητεexelthēteyou leave ἐκεῖθενekeithenthat area .
11καὶkai- ὅσοιhosoiall ἐάνeanvvv μεmeof me , δέξωνταίdexōntai[people] will welcome ὑμᾶςhymasyou μηδὲmēdeor ἀκούσωσινakousōsinlisten to ὑμῶνhymōnyou , ἐκπορευόμενοιekporeuomenoiwhen you leave ἐκεῖθενekeithenthat ἐκτινάξατεektinaxateshake τὸνtonthe χοῦνchoundust τὸνton- ὑποκάτωhypokatōoff τὸνton- ποδῶνpodōnfeet ὑμῶνhymōnyour εἰςeisas μαρτύριονmartyriona testimony αὐτοῖςautoisagainst them .” ἀμὴνamēnTruly λέγωlegōI say : ὑμῖνhyminto you ἀνεκτότερονanektoteronmore bearable ἔσταιestaiHe will be ΣοδόμοιςSodomoisfor Sodom ἩHē- ΓομόρροιςgomorroisGomorrah ἐνenvvv ἡμέρᾳhēmeraday , κρίσεωςkriseōsof judgment ἩHē- τῇtē- πόλειpoleitown ἐκείνῃekeinēthat
12ΚαὶKaiThen ἐξελθόντεςexelthontesthey set out ἐκήρυσσονekēryssonthey proclaimed [it] . ἵναhinathat μετανοήσωσι,metanoesosi[the people] should repent .
13καὶkaivvv δαιμόνιαdaimoniademons πολλὰpollamany ἐξέβαλλονexeballonThey also drove out καὶkaivvv ἤλειφονēleiphonanointing [them] ἐλαίῳelaiōwith oil . πολλοὺςpollousmany ἀρρώστουςarrōstousof the sick , καὶkai- ἐθεράπευονetherapeuonhealed
14καὶkaiand ἤκουσενēkousenheard about this , ὁho- βασιλεὺςbasileusKing ἩρῴδηςHērōdēsHerod φανερὸνphaneronwell known , γὰρgarfor ἐγένετοegenetohad become τὸto- ὄνομαonomaname αὐτοῦautou[Jesus’] καὶkaiand ἔλεγενelegenhe said , ὅτιhoti- , ἸωάννηςIōannēs“ John ὁhothe ΒαπτίζωνBaptizōnBaptist ἐκekfrom νεκρῶνnekrōn[the] dead ! ἠγέρθηēgerthēhas risen [from the dead] ! ” καὶkaiand διὰdiaon account of τοῦτοtoutoThat ἐνεργοῦσινenergousinare at work αἱhai- δυνάμειςdynameismiraculous powers ἐνenin αὐτῷautōhim . ”
15ἄλλοιalloiOthers ἔλεγονelegonwere saying , ὅτιhoti- ἨλίαςĒliasElijah , ” ἐστίνestin“ He is ἄλλοιalloistill others δὲdeand ἔλεγονelegon- ὅτιhoti- , ΠροφήτηςProphētēs“ [He is] a prophet , ὡςhōslike εἷςheisone τῶνtōnof the προφητῶνprophētōnprophets [of old] . ”
16ἈκούσαςAkousasheard this , δὲdeBut when ὁho- ἩρῴδηςHērōdēsHerod εἶπενeipensaid ὅτιhoti- ὋνHonwhom ἐγὼegōI ἀπεκεφάλισαapekephalisabeheaded , ἸωάννηνIōannēn“ John , οὗτοςhoutos- ἐστίνestin“ He is ΑὐτὸςAutoshimself ἠγέρθηēgerthēhas risen [from the dead] ! ” ἐκekfrom νεκρῶνnekrōn[the] dead !
17ΑὐτὸςAutoshimself γὰρgarFor ὁho- ἩρῴδηςHērōdēsHerod ἀποστείλαςaposteilashad ordered ἐκράτησεekratesebe arrested τὸνtonthat ἸωάννηνIōannēnJohn καὶkaiand ἔδησενedēsenbound αὐτὸνauton. . . ἐνenvvv φυλακῇphylakē[and] imprisoned , διὰdiaon account of ἩρῳδιάδαHērōdiadaHerodias , τὴνtēn- γυναῖκαgynaikawife ΦιλίππουPhilippouPhilip’s τοῦtou- ἀδελφοῦadelphoubrother αὐτοῦautouhis ὅτιhoti- αὐτὴνautēn[whom] ἐγάμησενegamēsen[Herod] had married .
18ἔλεγεelege[Jesus] declared γὰρgarFor ὁho- ἸωάννηςIōannēsJohn τῷtō- ἩρῴδῃHērōdēHerod , ὅτιhoti- ΟὐκOuk“ vvv ἔξεστίexestiis unlawful σοιsoifor you ἔχεινecheinto have τὴνtēn- γυναῖκαgynaikawife ! ” τοῦtou- ἀδελφοῦadelphoubrother’s σουsouyour
19ἩHē- δὲdeSo ἩρῳδιὰςHērōdiasHerodias ἐνεῖχενeneichenheld a grudge αὐτῷautōagainst [John] καὶkaiand ἤθελενēthelenwanted αὐτὸνautonhim . ἀποκτεῖναιapokteinaito kill καὶkaiBut οὐκoukvvv ἠδύνατοēdynatoshe had been unable ,
20ὁho- γὰρgarbecause ἩρῴδηςHērōdēsHerod ἐφοβεῖτοephobeitofeared τὸνton- ἸωάννηνIōannēnJohn εἰδὼςeidōsknowing [that] αὐτὸνautonhe [was] ἄνδραandraman . δίκαιονdikaiona righteous καὶkaiand ἅγιονhagionholy καὶkaiand συνετήρειsynetēreiprotected αὐτόνautonhim , καὶkaiand ἀκούσαςakousashe heard αὐτοῦautou[John’s words] , πολλὰpollavvv ἐποίειepoiei[Jesus] was doing , καὶkaiyet ἡδέωςhēdeōsgladly . αὐτοῦautouto him ἤκουε.ekouelistening to
21ΚαὶKai- γενομένηςgenomenēsarose . ἡμέραςhēmeras. . . εὐκαίρουeukairou[her] opportunity ὅτεhote- ἩρῴδηςHērōdēsHerod τοῖςtoisfor γενεσίοιςgenesioisbirthday , αὐτοῦautou[Herod’s] δεῖπνονdeipnona banquet ἐποίειepoiei[Jesus] was doing , τοῖςtoisfor μεγιστᾶσινmegistasinnobles αὐτοῦautouhis καὶkaiand τοῖςtois- χιλιάρχοιςchiliarchoismilitary commanders καὶkaiand τοῖςtoisthe πρώτοιςprōtoisleading [men] τῆςtēs- ΓαλιλαίαςGalilaiasof Galilee .
22καὶkai[When] εἰσελθούσηςeiselthousēscame τῆςtēs- θυγατρὸςthygatrosdaughter αὐτῆςautēs- τῆςtēs- ἩρῳδιάδοςHērōdiadosof Herodias καὶkai[When] ὀρχησαμένηςorchēsamenēsdanced , καὶkaiand ἀρεσάσηςaresasesshe pleased τῷtō- ἩρῴδῃHērōdēHerod καὶkaiand τοῖςtoisvvv συνανακειμένοιςsynanakeimenoishis guests , εἶπενeipensaid ὃhofor whatever βασιλεὺς»basileusking τῷtōto the κορασίῳkorasiōgirl , ΑἴτησόνAitēson“ Ask μεmeme ὃhofor whatever ἐὰνeanvvv θέλῃςthelēsyou wish , καὶkaiand δώσωdōsōI will give [it] σοιsoito you . ”
23καὶkaiAnd ὤμοσενōmosenhe swore αὐτῇautēto her ὅτιhoti- ὁho- ἐὰνeanvvv μεmeme αἰτήσῃςaitēsēsyou ask δώσωdōsōI will give σοιsoiyou , ἕωςheōsup to ἡμίσουςhēmisoushalf τῆςtēs- βασιλείαςbasileiaskingdom ! ” μουmoumy
24ἩHē- δὲdeAnd ἐξελθοῦσαexelthousashe went out εἰπὲeipesay τῇtē- μητρὶmētrimother , αὐτῆςautēsher ΤίTi“ What αἰτήσωμαιaitēsōmaishould I request ? ” ἩHē- δὲdeAnd εἰπὲeipesay ΤὴνTēn“ The κεφαλὴνkephalēnhead ἸωάννουIōannouof John τοῦtouthe ΒαπτιστοῦBaptistouBaptist
25ΚαὶKai- εἰσελθοῦσαeiselthousa[the girl] hurried back εὐθέωςeutheōsat once . μετὰmeta. . . σπουδῆςspoudēs. . . πρὸςprosto τὸνtonthe βασιλέαbasileaking ᾐτήσατοētēsatowith her request λέγουσαlegousa- : ΘέλωThelō“ I want ἵναhina- μοιmoime δῷςdōsyou to give ἐξαυτῆςexautēsimmediately . ” ἐπὶepion πίνακιpinakia platter τὴνtēnthe κεφαλὴνkephalēnhead ἸωάννουIōannouof John τοῦtouthe ΒαπτιστοῦBaptistouBaptist
26ΚαὶKai- περίλυποςperilyposconsumed with sorrow , γενόμενοςgenomenoswas ὁhoThe βασιλεὺςbasileusking διὰdiabut because of τοὺςtous[his] ὅρκουςhorkousoaths καὶkaiand τοὺςtousvvv συνανακειμένουςsynanakeimenoushis guests , οὐκoukvvv ἠθέλησενēthelēsenhe did not want αὐτήνautēnher . ἀθετῆσαιathetēsaito refuse
27καὶkaiSo εὐθέωςeutheōsat once . ἀποστείλαςaposteilasHe sent ὁhothe βασιλεὺςbasileusking σπεκουλάτοραspekoulatoraan executioner , ἐπέταξενepetaxencommanded that ἐνεχθῆναιenekhthenaicommanded that τὴνtēn- κεφαλὴνkephalēnhead αὐτοῦautouJohn’s
28ὁhothe δὲdeAnd ἀπελθὼνapelthōnwho went ἀπεκεφάλισενapekephalisen[and] beheaded αὐτὸνautonhim ἐνenin τῇtēthe φυλακῇphylakēprison . καὶkai- ἤνεγκεenegke[The man] brought τὴνtēn[John’s] κεφαλὴνkephalēnhead αὐτοῦautou. . . ἐπὶepion πίνακιpinakia platter καὶkaiand ἔδωκενedōkenpresented αὐτὴνautēnit τῷtōto the κορασίῳkorasiōgirl , καὶkai- τὸto- κοράσιονkorasion[who] ἔδωκενedōkengave αὐτὴνautēnit τῇtē- μητρὶmētrimother . αὐτῆςautēsto her
29καὶkaiWhen ἀκούσαντεςakousantesheard about [this] , οἱhoi- μαθηταὶmathētaidisciples αὐτοῦautou[John’s] ἦλθον*ēlthonthey came καὶkaiand ἦρανērantook τὸto- πτῶμαptōmabody αὐτοῦautouhis καὶkaiand ἔθηκανethēkanplaced αὐτὸautoit ἐνenin μνημείῳmnēmeiō[a] tomb .
30ΚαὶKaiMeanwhile , συνάγονταιsynagontaigathered οἱhoithe ἀπόστολοιapostoloiapostles πρὸςprosaround τὸνton- ἸησοῦνIēsounJesus καὶkaiand ἀπήγγειλανapēngeilanbrought Him news αὐτῷautō. . . πάνταpantaof all καὶkaiand ὅσαhosa- ἐποίησανepoiēsanthey had done καὶkaiand ὅσαhosa- ἐδίδαξανedidaxantaught .
31καὶkaiAnd εἶπενeipen. . . αὐτοῖςautoisthem , ΔεῦτεDeute“ Come ὑμεῖςhymeisvvv αὐτοὶautoiprivately κατ’kat’with Me ἰδίανidian. . . εἰςeisto ἔρημονerēmon[a] solitary τόπονtoponplace , καὶkaiand ἀναπαύεσθεanapauestheresting ? ὀλίγονoligonfor a while . ” ἦσανēsanwere γὰρgarFor οἱhoi- ἐρχόμενοιerchomenoicoming καὶkaiand οἱhoi- ὑπάγοντεςhypagontesgoing , πολλοίpolloimany [people] καὶkaiand οὐδὲoudevvv φαγεῖνphageinto eat . εὐκαίρουνeukairounthey did not even have time
32ΚαὶKaiSo ἀπῆλθονapēlthonthey went away εἰςeisto ἔρημονerēmona solitary τόπονtoponplace . ἐνenin πλοίῳploiōa boat κατ’kat’by ἰδίανidianthemselves
33καὶkaiBut εἶδονeidonsaw αὐτοὺςautousthem ὑπάγονταςhypagontasleaving καὶkaiand ἐπέγνωσανepegnōsanrecognized [them] . αὐτοὺςautousthem πολλοίpolloimany [people] καὶkaiBut πεζῇpezēon foot ἀπὸapofrom πασῶνpasōnall τῶνtōnthe πόλεωνpoleōntowns συνέδραμονsynedramonThey ran together ἐκεῖekei- καὶkai- προῆλθονproēlthonarrived before αὐτούςautousthem . ΚαὶKaiWhen συνῆλθονsunelthoncame together , πρὸςprosaround αὐτὸνautonhim
34καὶkai- ἐξελθὼνexelthōn[Jesus] stepped ashore ὁho“ This ἸησοῦςIēsousJesus εἶδενeiden[and] saw πολὺνpolyna large ὄχλονochloncrowd , καὶkai- ἐσπλαγχνίσθηesplanchnisthēHe had compassion ἐπ’ep’on αὐτοῖςautoisthem , ὅτιhoti- , ἦσανēsanthey were ὡςhōslike πρόβαταprobatasheep μὴmēvvv ἔχονταechontawithout ποιμέναpoimenaa shepherd . καὶkaiAnd ἤρξατοērxatoHe began διδάσκεινdidaskeinto teach αὐτοὺςautousthem πολλάpollamany things .
35ΚαὶKaiBy now ἤδηēdēalready ὥραςhōrasthe hour πολλῆςpollēslate . γενομένηςgenomenēswas προσελθόντεςproselthontescame αὐτῷautōto [Jesus] οἱhoi[So] the μαθηταὶmathētaidisciples αὐτοῦautou- λέγουσινlegousinThey asked ὅτιhoti- , ἜρημόςErēmosa desolate ἐστινestinis ὁho“ This τόποςtoposplace , καὶkaiand ἤδηēdē[is] already ὥραhōrathe hour πολλήpollēlate .
36ἀπόλυσονapolysonDismiss αὐτούςautous[the crowd] ἵναhinaso ἀπελθόντεςapelthontesthey can go εἰςeisto τοὺςtousthe κύκλῳkyklōsurrounding ἀγροὺςagrouscountryside καὶkaiand κώμαςkōmasvillages ἀγοράσωσινagorasōsin[and] buy ἑαυτοῖςheautoisthemselves ἄρτουςartousbread τίtisomething γὰρgarFor φάγωσινphagōsinto eat . ” οὐκoukvvv ἔχουσινechousinhave
37ὁhothe δὲdeAnd ἀποκριθεὶςapokritheis[Jesus] told εἶπενeipen. . . αὐτοῖςautoisthem , ΔότεDotegive αὐτοῖςautoisthem ὑμεῖςhymeis“ You φαγεῖνphagein[something] to eat . ” ΚαὶKai- λέγουσινlegousinThey asked αὐτῷautōHim , ἈπελθόντεςApelthontes“ Should we go out ἀγοράσωμενagorasōmen[and] spend δηναρίωνdēnariōndenarii διακοσίωνdiakosiōntwo hundred ἄρτουςartousbread καὶkai- δῶμενdōmenShould we pay [them] αὐτοῖςautoisall of them φαγεῖνphageinto eat ? ”
38ὉHo- δὲde- λέγειlegeiHe told αὐτοῖςautoisthem . ΠόσουςPosoushow many ἄρτουςartousloaves ἔχετεecheteyou have , ” ὑπάγετεhypagete“ Go καὶkai- ἴδετεidete[and] see καὶkai- γνόντεςgnontesafter checking , λέγουσι·legousisay ΠέντεPente“ Five — καὶkaiand δύοdyotwo ἰχθύαςichthyasfish . ”
39ΚαὶKaiThen ἐπέταξενepetaxen[Jesus] directed αὐτοῖςautoisthem ἀνακλῖναι*anaklinaito have [the people] sit πάνταςpantasvvv συμπόσιαsymposiavvv συμπόσιαsymposiavvv ἐπὶepion τῷtōthe χλωρῷchlōrōgreen χόρτῳchortōgrass .
40καὶkaiSo ἀνέπεσονanepesonthey sat down πρασιαὶprasiaivvv πρασιαὶprasiaivvv ἀνὰana- ἑκατὸνhekatonhundreds καὶkaiand ἀνὰana- πεντήκονταpentēkontafifties .
41ΚαὶKai- λαβὼνlabōnTaking τοὺςtousthe πέντεpentefive ἄρτουςartousloaves καὶkaiand τοὺςtousthe δύοdyotwo ἰχθύαςichthyasfish ἀναβλέψαςanablepsas[and] looking up εἰςeisto τὸνton- οὐρανὸνouranonheaven , εὐλόγησε,eulogese[Jesus] spoke a blessing καὶkaiand κατέκλασεkateklasebroke τοὺςtousthe ἄρτουςartousloaves . καὶkaiThen ἐδίδουedidouHe gave [them] τοῖςtoisto μαθηταῖςmathētaisdisciples ἵναhinato παραθῶσινparathosinset before αὐτοῖςautois[the people] . καὶkaiAnd τοὺςtousthe δύοdyotwo ἰχθύαςichthyasfish ἐμέρισεemeriseHe divided πᾶσιpasiall
42ΚαὶKai- ἔφαγονephagonate πάντεςpantes{They} all ΚαὶKai- ἐχορτάσθησανechortasthēsanwere satisfied ,
43καὶkaiand ἦρανēran[the disciples] picked up κλασμάτωνklasmatōnof broken pieces δώδεκαdōdekatwelve κοφίνουςkophinousbasketfuls πλήρειςplēreis. . . καὶkaiand ἀπὸapo- τῶνtōn- ἰχθύωνichthyōnfish .
44καὶkaiAnd ἦσανēsanthere were οἱhoiwho φαγόντεςphagonteshad eaten τοὺςtousthe ἄρτουςartousloaves . πεντακισχίλιοιpentakischilioifive thousand ἄνδρεςandresmen
45καὶkaiAnd εὐθέωςeutheōsat once . ἠνάγκασεenagkase[Jesus] made τοὺςtousthe μαθητὰςmathētasdisciples αὐτοῦautouHis ἐμβῆναιembēnaiget εἰςeisinto τὸtothe πλοῖονploionboat καὶkaiand προάγεινproageingo on ahead of [Him] εἰςeis. . . τὸto. . . πέρανperan. . . πρὸςprosto ΒηθσαϊδάνBēthsaidanBethsaida , ἕωςheōswhile αὐτὸςautosHe ἀπολύσῃapolysēdivorces τὸνtonthe ὄχλονochloncrowd .

48καὶkai- ἰδὼνidōnHe could see that αὐτοὺςautous[the disciples] βασανιζομένουςbasanizomenouswere straining ἐνenvvv τῷtōvvv ἐλαύνεινelauneinto row , ἐνenvvv γὰρgarbecause ὁhothe ἄνεμοςanemoswind ἐναντίοςenantiosagainst αὐτοῖςautoisthem . καὶkai- περὶperiAbout τετάρτηνtetartēn[the] fourth φυλακὴνphylakēnwatch τῆςtēsof the νυκτὸςnyktosnight , ἔρχεταιerchetai[Jesus] went out πρὸςprosto αὐτοὺςautousthem , περιπατῶνperipatōnwalking ἐπὶepion τῆςtēsthe θαλάσσηςthalassēssea . καὶkai- ἤθελεethelerefused παρελθεῖνpareltheinto pass by αὐτούςautousthem ,
49οἱhoi- δὲdebut ἰδόντεςidonteswhen they saw αὐτὸνautonHim περιπατοῦνταperipatountawalking ἐπὶepion τῆςtēsthe θαλάσσηςthalassēssea , ἔδοξανedoxanthinking φάντασμάphantasmaa ghost — εἶναιeinaito go καὶkaiand ἀνέκραξανanekraxanthey cried out ,
50πάντεςpantesthey all γὰρgarfor αὐτὸνauton- . εἶδον*eidonsaw Him καὶkaiand ἐταράχθησανetarachthēsanwere terrified καὶkaiand εὐθέωςeutheōsat once . ἐλάλησεelaleseHe promised μετ’met’- αὐτῶνautōn- : καὶkai- λέγειlegei- αὐτοῖςautois- ΘαρσεῖτεTharseite“ Take courage ! ἐγώegōI . εἰμιeimi[It] is μὴmē{Do} not φοβεῖσθεphobeisthebe afraid . ”
51καὶkaiThen ἀνέβηanebēHe climbed εἰςeisinto τὸtothe πλοῖονploionboat πρὸςproswith αὐτοὺςautousthem , καὶkaiand ἐκόπασενekopasendied down . ὁhothe ἄνεμοςanemoswind καὶkaiAnd λίανlian[the disciples were] utterly ἐκek. . . περισσοῦperissou. . . ἐνen- ἑαυτοῖςheautois- , ἐξίσταντοexistantoastounded καὶkaiAnd ἐθαύμαζονethaumazonwondering
52οὐouvvv γὰρgarfor συνῆκανsynēkanthey had not understood ἐπὶepiabout τοῖςtoisthe ἄρτοιςartoisloaves , ἀλλ’all’but ἦνēnhad been αὐτῶνautōntheir ἡhē- καρδίαkardiahearts πεπωρωμένηpepōrōmenēhardened .
53ΚαὶKaiWhen διαπεράσαντεςdiaperasantesthey had crossed over , ἀπῆλθονapēlthonthey went away ἐπὶepion τὴνtēn[John’s] γῆνgēn. . . ΓεννησαρὲτGennēsaretGennesaret καὶkaiand προσωρμίσθησανprosōrmisthēsanmoored [the boat] .
54καὶkai- ἐξελθόντωνexelthontōngot αὐτῶνautōnthey ἐκekout of τοῦtouthe πλοίουploiouboat , εὐθέωςeutheōsat once . ἐπιγνόντεςepignontes[the people] recognized αὐτὸνauton[Jesus]
55περιέδραμονperiedramon[and] ran through ὅληνholēnwhole τὴνtēn- περίχωρονperichōronregion around ἐκείνηνekeinēnthat καὶkai- ἤρξαντοērxantovvv ἐπὶepion τοῖςtois- κραβάττοιςkrabattoismats τοὺςtousthe κακῶςkakōssick ἔχονταςechontas. . . περιφέρεινperiphereincarrying ὅπουhopouto wherever ἤκουονēkouonthey heard ὅτιhoti- ἐκεῖekei- ἐστι·estiis
