1ΚαὶKaiThen εἶδονeidonI looked καὶkaiand ἰδοὺidousaw τὸtothe ἈρνίονArnionLamb ἑστηκὸςhestēkosstanding ἐπὶepion τὸto- ὄροςorosMount ΣιώνSiōnZion , καὶkaiand μετ’met’with αὐτοῦautouHim ἑκατὸνhekaton144,000 {} τεσσαράκονταtessarakonta[where for] forty τέσσαρεςtessares. . . χιλιάδεςchiliades. . . ἔχουσαιechousaiwho had τὸto- ὄνομαonomaname αὐτοῦautouHis καὶkaiand τὸto- ὄνομαonomaname τοῦtou- ΠατρὸςPatrosFather’s αὐτοῦautouHis γεγραμμένονgegrammenonwritten ἐπὶepion τῶνtōn- μετώπωνmetōpōnforeheads . αὐτῶνautōntheir
2καὶkaiAnd ἤκουσαēkousaI heard φωνὴνphōnēna sound ἐκekfrom τοῦtou- οὐρανοῦouranouheaven ὡςhōslike φωνὴνphōnēn[the] roar ὑδάτωνhydatōnwaters πολλῶνpollōnof many καὶkaiand ὡςhōs- φωνὴνphōnēnrumbling βροντῆςbrontēsof thunder . μεγάληςmegalēs[the] loud καὶkaiand ἡhēthe φωνὴphōnēsound ἣνhēn- ἤκουσαēkousaI heard ὡςhōs[was] like κιθαρῳδῶνkitharōdōnharpists κιθαριζόντωνkitharizontōnstrumming ἐνen- ταῖςtais- κιθάραιςkitharaisharps . αὐτῶνautōntheir
3ΚαὶKaiAnd ᾄδουσινadousinthey sang ᾠδὴνōdēnsong καινὴνkainēna new ἐνώπιονenōpionbefore τοῦtouthe θρόνουthronouthrone καὶkaiand ἐνώπιονenōpionbefore τῶνtōnthe τεσσάρωνtessarōnfour ζῴωνzōōnliving creatures καὶkaiand τῶνtōnthe πρεσβυτέρωνpresbyterōnelders . καὶkaiAnd οὐδεὶςoudeisno one ἐδύνατοedynatocould μαθεῖνmatheinlearn τὴνtēnthe ᾠδὴνōdēnsong εἰeiexcept μὴmē. . . αἱhaithe ἑκατὸνhekaton144,000 {} τεσσαράκονταtessarakonta[where for] forty τέσσαρεςtessares. . . χιλιάδεςchiliades. . . οἱhoiwho ἠγορασμένοιēgorasmenoihad been redeemed ἀπὸapofrom τῆςtēsthe γῆςgēsearth .
4οὗτοίhoutoiThese εἰσινeisinare οἳhoithe ones who μετὰmetawith γυναικῶνgynaikōnwomen , οὐκoukvvv ἐμολύνθησανemolynthēsanhave not been defiled παρθένοιparthenoivirgins . γάρgarfor εἰσινeisinthey are οὗτοιhoutoiThey εἰσινeisinthey are οἱhoi- ἀκολουθοῦντεςakolouthountesfollow τῷtōthe ἈρνίῳArniōLamb ὅπουhopouwherever ἂνanvvv ὑπάγῃhypagēHe goes . οὗτοιhoutoiThey ἠγοράσθησανēgorasthēsanhave been redeemed ἀπὸapofrom among τῶνtōn- ἀνθρώπωνanthrōpōnmen ἀπαρχὴaparchē[as] firstfruits τῷtō- ΘεῷTheōto God καὶkaiand τῷtōto the ἈρνίῳArniōLamb .
5καὶkaiAnd οὐχouchno εὑρέθηheurethēwas found ψεῦδοςpseudoslie ἐνenin τῷtō- στόματιstomatimouths ; αὐτῶνautōntheir ἄμωμοίamōmoiblameless . γάρgarfor εἰσινeisinthey are
6καὶkaiand εἶδονeidonI saw ἄλλονallonanother ἄγγελονangelonangel πετόμενονpetomenonflying ἐνenvvv μεσουρανήματιmesouranēmatioverhead , ἔχονταechontawith εὐαγγέλιονeuangeliongospel αἰώνιονaiōnion[the] eternal εὐαγγελίσαιeuangelisaito proclaim ἐπὶepito τοὺςtousthose who καθημένουςkathēmenousdwell ἐπὶepion τῆςtēsthe γῆςgēsearth — καὶkai- ἐπὶepito πᾶνpanevery ἔθνοςethnosnation καὶkaiand φυλὴνphylēntribe καὶkaiand γλῶσσανglōssantongue καὶkaiand λαόνlaonpeople .
7λέγωνlegōn[And] he said ἐνenin φωνῇphōnēvoice , μεγάλῃmegalēa loud ΦοβήθητεPhobēthēte“ Fear τὸνton- ΚύριονKyrionLord’s καὶkaiand δότεdotegive αὐτῷautōHim δόξανdoxanglory , ὅτιhotibecause ἦλθενēlthenhas come . ἡhēthe ὥραhōrahour τῆςtēsof κρίσεωςkriseōsjudgment αὐτοῦautouHis καὶkai- προσκυνήσατεproskynēsateWorship τῷtōthe [One who] ποιήσαντιpoiēsantimade τὸνtonthe οὐρανὸνouranonheavens καὶkaiand τὴνtēnthe γῆνgēnearth καὶkaiand τὴνtēnthe θάλασσανthalassan[the] sea καὶkaiand πηγὰςpēgas[the] springs ὑδάτωνhydatōnof waters . ”
8ΚαὶKaiThen ἄλλοςallosa δεύτεροςdeuterossecond ἄγγελοςangelosangel ἠκολούθησεekolouthese[and] followed λέγωνlegōnsaying , ἜπεσενEpesen“ Fallen , ἔπεσεepesefell ΒαβυλὼνBabylōnBabylon ἡhēthe μεγάληmegalēgreat , ἣhēwho {has made} ἐκek- τοῦtouthe οἴνουoinouwine τοῦtouof the θυμοῦthymoupassion τῆςtēsof πορνείαςporneiasimmorality . ” αὐτῆςautēsher πεπότικεpepotikedrink πάνταpantaall τὰtathe ἔθνηethnēnations
9ΚαὶKaiAnd ἄλλοςallosvvv ἄγγελοςangelosangel τρίτοςtritosa third ἠκολούθησενēkolouthēsenfollowed αὐτοῖςautoisthem , λέγωνlegōncalling out ἐνenin φωνῇphōnēvoice , μεγάλῃmegalēa loud ΕἴEi“ If τιςtisanyone προσκυνεῖproskyneiworships τὸtothe θηρίονthērionbeast καὶkaiand τὴνtēn- εἰκόναeikonaimage , αὐτοῦautouits καὶkaiand λαμβάνειlambaneireceives τὸtothe χάραγμαcharagma[its] mark ἐπὶepion τοῦtou- μετώπουmetōpouforehead αὐτοῦautouhis ἢēor ἐπὶepion τὴνtēnhis χεῖραcheirahand , αὐτοῦautou-
10καὶkaitoo αὐτὸςautoshe πίεταιpietaiwill drink ἐκek- τοῦtouthe οἴνουoinouwine τοῦtou- θυμοῦthymouanger , τοῦtou- ΘεοῦTheouof God’s τοῦtou- κεκερασμένουkekerasmenoupoured ἀκράτουakratouundiluted ἐνeninto τῷtōthe ποτηρίῳpotēriōcup τῆςtēsof ὀργῆςorgēswrath . αὐτοῦautouHis καὶkaiAnd βασανισθήσεταιbasanisthēsetaihe will be tormented ἐνenin πυρὶpyrifire καὶkaiand θείῳtheiōsulfur ἐνώπιονenōpionin the presence of τῶνtōnof the ἁγίωνhagiōnsaints ἀγγέλωνangelōnangels καὶkaiand ἐνώπιονenōpion- τοῦtouof the ἈρνίουArniouLamb .
11καὶkaiAnd ὁhothe καπνὸςkapnossmoke τοῦtouof βασανισμοῦbasanismoutorment αὐτῶνautōntheir εἰςeisvvv αἰῶναςaiōnasforever αἰώνωνaiōnōn[and] ever . ἀναβαίνειanabaineirises καὶkai- οὐκoukno ἔχουσινechousin[there is] ἀνάπαυσινanapausinrest ἡμέραςhēmerasDay καὶkaiand νυκτόςnyktosnight οἱhoifor those who προσκυνοῦντεςproskynountesworship τὸtothe θηρίονthērionbeast καὶkaiand τὴνtēn- εἰκόναeikonaimage , αὐτοῦautouits καὶkaiand εἴei[for] τιςtisanyone who λαμβάνειlambaneireceives τὸtothe χάραγμαcharagmamark τοῦtou- ὀνόματοςonomatosname . ” αὐτοῦautouof its
12ὯδεHōdeHere ἡhēthe ὑπομονὴhypomonēperseverance τῶνtōnof the ἁγίωνhagiōnsaints ἐστίνestinis [a call for] οἱhoiwho τηροῦντεςtērounteskeep τὰςtasthe ἐντολὰςentolascommandments τοῦtou- ΘεοῦTheouof God καὶkaiand τὴνtēnthe πίστινpistinfaith ἸησοῦIēsouof Jesus .
13ΚαὶKaiAnd ἤκουσαēkousaI heard φωνῆςphōnēsa voice ἐκekfrom τοῦtou- οὐρανοῦouranouheaven λεγούσηςlegousēstelling [me] ΓράψονGrapsonto write , ΜακάριοιMakarioi“ Blessed [are] οἱhoithe νεκροὶnekroidead — οἱhoithose who ἐνenin ΚυρίῳKyriō[the] Lord ἀποθνῄσκοντεςapothnēskontesdie ἀπ’ap’from ἄρτιartithis moment on . ” ΝαίNai“ Yes , ” λέγειlegeisays τὸtothe ΠνεῦμαPneumaSpirit , ἽναHina“ - ἀναπαύσονταιanapausontairest ἐκekfrom τῶνtōn- κόπωνkopōnlabors , αὐτῶνautōntheir τὰta- δὲdealso ἔργαergadeeds αὐτῶνautōntheir ἀκολουθεῖakoloutheiwill follow μετ’met’- αὐτῶνautōnthem . ”
14ΚαὶKaiAnd εἶδονeidonI looked καὶkaiand ἰδοὺidousaw νεφέληnephelēcloud , λευκήleukēa white καὶkaiand ἐπὶepion τὴνtēnthe νεφέληνnephelēncloud καθήμενοςkathēmenosseated ὉμοίωςHomoiōsin the same way , υἱῷhuiōson ἀνθρώπουanthrōpouof Man , ἔχωνechōnwith ἐπὶepion τῆςtēs- κεφαλῆςkephalēshead αὐτοῦautouHis στέφανονstephanoncrown χρυσοῦνchrysouna golden καὶkaiand ἐνenin τῇtē- χειρὶcheirihand . αὐτοῦautouHis δρέπανονdrepanonsickle ὀξύoxya sharp
15καὶkaiand ἄλλοςallosanother ἄγγελοςangelosangel ἐξῆλθενexēlthencame out ἐκekof τοῦtouthe ναοῦnaoutemple , κράζωνkrazōncrying out ἐνenin φωνῇphōnēvoice μεγάλῃmegalēa loud τῷtōto the [One] καθημένῳkathēmenōseated ἐπὶepion τῆςtēsthe νεφέληςnephelēscloud , ΠέμψονPempson“ Swing τὸto- δρέπανόνdrepanonsickle σουsouYour καὶkaiand θέρισονtherisonreap , ὅτιhotibecause ἦλθενēlthenhas come ἡhēthe ὥραhōratime τοῦtouthe θερίσαιtherisaito harvest ; ὅτιhotifor ἐξηράνθηexēranthēis ripe . ” ὁhothe [One] θερισμὸςtherismoscrop τῆςtēsof the γῆςgēsearth
16καὶkai[So] ἔβαλενebalenswung ὁhothe [One] καθήμενοςkathēmenosseated ἐπὶepion τὴνtēnthe νεφέληνnephelēncloud τὸtothe δρέπανονdrepanonsickle αὐτοῦautouHis ἐπὶepion τὴνtēnthe γῆνgēnearth , καὶkaiand ἐθερίσθηetheristhēwas harvested . ἡhēthe γῆgēearth
17ΚαὶKaiThen ἄλλοςallosanother ἄγγελοςangelosangel ἐξῆλθενexēlthencame ἐκekout of τοῦtouthe ναοῦnaoutemple τοῦtou- ἐνenin τῷtō- οὐρανῷouranōheaven , ἔχωνechōnhad καὶkaiand αὐτὸςautoshe [too] δρέπανονdrepanonsickle . ὀξύoxya sharp
18ΚαὶKai[Still] ἄλλοςallosanother ἄγγελοςangelosangel , ἐξῆλθενexēlthencame ἐκekfrom τοῦtouthe θυσιαστηρίουthysiastērioualtar ἔχωνechōnwith ἐξουσίανexousianauthority ἐπὶepiover τοῦtouthe πυρόςpyrosfire , καὶkaiand ἐφώνησεephonese[and] called out κραυγῇkraugēvoice μεγάλῃmegalēin a loud τῷtōto the [angel] ἔχοντιechontiwith τὸtothe δρέπανονdrepanonsickle τὸto- ὀξὺoxysharp λέγωνlegōn- , ΠέμψονPempson“ Swing σουsouyour τὸto- δρέπανονdrepanonsickle τὸto- ὀξὺoxysharp καὶkaiand τρύγησονtrygēsongather τοὺςtousthe βότρυαςbotryasclusters [of grapes] τῆςtēsfrom the ἀμπέλουampelouvine τῆςtēsof the γῆςgēsearth , ὅτιhotibecause ἤκμασενekmasenare ripe . ” ἡhēthe σταφυλὴstaphulegrapes τῆςtēsthe γῆςgēsearth ,
19καὶkaiand ἔβαλενebalenhe threw [them] ὁhothe ἄγγελοςangelosangel τὸto- δρέπανονdrepanonsickle αὐτοῦautouhis εἰςeisover τὴνtēnthe γῆνgēnearth καὶkaiand ἐτρύγησεetrugesegathered τὴνtēnthe ἄμπελονampelon[grapes] τῆςtēsof the γῆςgēsearth , καὶkaiand ἔβαλενebalenhe threw [them] εἰςeisinto τὴνtēn- ληνὸνlēnonwinepress τοῦtou- θυμοῦthymouwrath . τοῦtou- ΘεοῦTheouof God’s τὴνtēn- μεγάληνmegalēna great
20καὶkaiand ἐπατήθηepatēthēwas trodden ἡhēthe ληνὸςlēnoswinepress ἔξωexōoutside . τῆςtēsthe πόλεωςpoleōscity , καὶkaiand ἐξῆλθενexēlthen[that] flowed αἷμαhaima[the] blood ἐκekfrom τῆςtēsvvv ληνοῦlēnou[it] ἄχριachri[rose] as high as τῶνtōnthe χαλινῶνchalinōnbridles τῶνtōnof the ἵππωνhippōnhorses ἀπὸapofor a distance of σταδίωνstadiōnstadia . χιλίωνchiliōn1,600 {} ἑξακοσίωνhexakosiōn. . .
