10ἐξεδέχετοexedechetohe was looking forward to γὰρgarFor τὴνtēnthe τοὺςtous- θεμελίουςthemeliousfoundations , ἔχουσανechousanwith πόλινpolincity ἧςhēswhose τεχνίτηςtechnitēsarchitect καὶkaiand δημιουργὸςdēmiourgosbuilder [is] ὁho- ΘεόςTheosGod .

37ἘλιθάσθησανElithasthēsanThey were stoned , ἐπρίσθησανepristhēsanthey were sawed in two , ἐπειράσθησαν,epeirasthesanthey were sawed in two , ἐνenby φόνῳphonō- μαχαίραςmakhairasof [the] sword ἀπέθανονapethanonthey were put to death περιῆλθονperiēlthonThey went around ἐνenin μηλωταῖςmēlōtaissheepskins ἐνen[and] αἰγείοιςaigeioisgoatskins δέρμασινdermasin. . . , ὑστερούμενοιhysteroumenoidestitute , θλιβόμενοιthlibomenoioppressed , κακουχούμενοιkakouchoumenoi[and] mistreated .

40τοῦtou- ΘεοῦTheouGod περὶperifor ἡμῶνhēmōnus , κρεῖττόνkreittonbetter τιtisomething προβλεψαμένουproblepsamenouhad planned ἵναhinaso that μὴmēvvv χωρὶςchōristogether with ἡμῶνhēmōnus τελειωθῶσι.teleiothosithey would be made perfect .
