10יֵשְׁב֨וּיֵשְׁבוּישבוyê·šə·ḇūsit לָאָ֤רֶץלָאָרֶץלארץlā·’ā·reṣon the ground יִדְּמוּ֙יִדְּמוּידמוyid·də·mūin silence . זִקְנֵ֣יזִקְנֵיזקניziq·nêThe elders בַת־בַת־בתḇaṯ-of the Daughter צִיּ֔וֹןצִיּוֹןציוןṣî·yō·wnof Zion הֶֽעֱל֤וּהֶֽעֱלוּהעלוhe·‘ĕ·lūThey have thrown עָפָר֙עָפָרעפר‘ā·p̄ārdust עַל־עַל־על‘al-on רֹאשָׁ֔םרֹאשָׁםראשםrō·šāmtheir heads חָגְר֖וּחָגְרוּחגרוḥā·ḡə·rūand put on שַׂקִּ֑יםשַׂקִּיםשקיםśaq·qîmsackcloth . הוֹרִ֤ידוּהוֹרִידוּהורידוhō·w·rî·ḏūhave bowed לָאָ֙רֶץ֙לָאָרֶץלארץlā·’ā·reṣto the ground . רֹאשָׁ֔ןרֹאשָׁןראשןrō·šāntheir heads בְּתוּלֹ֖תבְּתוּלֹתבתולתbə·ṯū·lōṯThe young women יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃סיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃סירושלםסyə·rū·šā·limof Jerusalem
