אֵיכָהאֵיכָהאיכה’ê·ḵāhHow פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter בֵּיתבֵּיתביתbɛttwo
1אֵיכָה֩אֵיכָהאיכה’ê·ḵāhHow יָעִ֨יביָעִיביעיבyā·‘îḇhas covered בְּאַפּ֤וֹ׀בְּאַפּוֹ׀באפוbə·’ap·pōwwith the cloud of His anger ! אֲדֹנָי֙אֲדֹנָיאדני’ă·ḏō·nāythe Lord אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- בַּת־בַּת־בתbaṯ-the Daughter צִיּ֔וֹןצִיּוֹןציוןṣî·yō·wnof Zion הִשְׁלִ֤יךְהִשְׁלִיךְהשליךhiš·lîḵHe has cast מִשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙מִשָּׁמַיִםמשמיםmiš·šā·ma·yimfrom heaven אֶ֔רֶץאֶרֶץארץ’e·reṣto earth . תִּפְאֶ֖רֶתתִּפְאֶרֶתתפארתtip̄·’e·reṯthe glory יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ליִשְׂרָאֵלישראלyiś·rā·’êlof Israel וְלֹא־וְלֹא־ולאwə·lō-He has abandoned זָכַ֥רזָכַרזכרzā·ḵar. . . הֲדֹם־הֲדֹם־הדםhă·ḏōm-His footstool רַגְלָ֖יורַגְלָיורגליוraḡ·lāw. . . בְּי֥וֹםבְּיוֹםביוםbə·yō·wmin the day אַפּֽוֹ׃סאַפּֽוֹ׃סאפוס’ap·pōwof His anger .
