18וַיֵּ֣לֶךְוַיֵּלֶךְוילךway·yê·leḵThen [Israel] traveled בַּמִּדְבָּ֗רבַּמִּדְבָּרבמדברbam·miḏ·bārthrough the wilderness וַיָּ֜סָבוַיָּסָבויסבway·yā·sāḇand bypassed אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- אֶ֤רֶץאֶרֶץארץ’e·reṣthe lands אֱדוֹם֙אֱדוֹםאדום’ĕ·ḏō·wmof Edom וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-and אֶ֣רֶץאֶרֶץארץ’e·reṣ מוֹאָ֔במוֹאָבמואבmō·w·’āḇMoab . וַיָּבֹ֤אוַיָּבֹאויבאway·yā·ḇōThey came מִמִּזְרַח־מִמִּזְרַח־ממזרחmim·miz·raḥ-to שֶׁ֙מֶשׁ֙שֶׁמֶשׁשמשše·mešthe east side לְאֶ֣רֶץלְאֶרֶץלארץlə·’e·reṣof the land מוֹאָ֔במוֹאָבמואבmō·w·’āḇof Moab וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּןוַֽיַּחֲנוּןויחנוןway·ya·ḥă·nūnand camped בְּעֵ֣בֶרבְּעֵבֶרבעברbə·‘ê·ḇeron the other side אַרְנ֑וֹןאַרְנוֹןארנון’ar·nō·wnof the Arnon . וְלֹא־וְלֹא־ולאwə·lō-But they did not בָ֙אוּ֙בָאוּבאוḇā·’ūenter בִּגְב֣וּלבִּגְבוּלבגבולbiḡ·ḇūlthe territory מוֹאָ֔במוֹאָבמואבmō·w·’āḇof Moab , כִּ֥יכִּיכיkîsince אַרְנ֖וֹןאַרְנוֹןארנון’ar·nō·wnthe Arnon גְּב֥וּלגְּבוּלגבולgə·ḇūlwas its border מוֹאָֽב׃מוֹאָֽב׃מואבmō·w·’āḇ- .
