יְהוֹשֻעַיְהוֹשֻעַיהושעyə·hō·wō·šu·a‘Joshua פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter חֵיתחֵיתחיתχeteight
16וַיִּזָּעֲק֗וּוַיִּזָּעֲקוּויזעקוway·yiz·zā·‘ă·qūwere summoned כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-Then all הָעָם֙הָעָםהעםhā·‘āmthe men אֲשֶׁ֣ראֲשֶׁראשר’ă·šer- בָּעִירבָּעִירבעירbå̄·ʿīr[of Ai] לִרְדֹּ֖ףלִרְדֹּףלרדףlir·dōp̄to pursue them , אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑םאַחֲרֵיהֶםאחריהם’a·ḥă·rê·hem. . . וַֽיִּרְדְּפוּ֙וַֽיִּרְדְּפוּוירדפוway·yir·də·p̄ūand they followed אַחֲרֵ֣יאַחֲרֵיאחרי’a·ḥă·rê. . . יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַיְהוֹשֻׁעַיהושעyə·hō·wō·šu·a‘Joshua וַיִּנָּתְק֖וּוַיִּנָּתְקוּוינתקוway·yin·nā·ṯə·qūand were drawn away מִן־מִן־מןmin-from הָעִֽיר׃הָעִֽיר׃העירhā·‘îrthe city .
