3מִקּ֗וֹלמִקּוֹלמקולmiq·qō·wlat the sound שַֽׁעֲטַת֙שַֽׁעֲטַתשעטתša·‘ă·ṭaṯof the galloping פַּרְס֣וֹתפַּרְסוֹתפרסותpar·sō·wṯhooves אַבִּירָ֔יואַבִּירָיואביריו’ab·bî·rāwof stallions , מֵרַ֣עַשׁמֵרַעַשׁמרעשmê·ra·‘ašthe rumbling לְרִכְבּ֔וֹלְרִכְבּוֹלרכבוlə·riḵ·bōwof chariots , הֲמ֖וֹןהֲמוֹןהמוןhă·mō·wnand the clatter גַּלְגִּלָּ֑יוגַּלְגִּלָּיוגלגליוgal·gil·lāwof their wheels . לֹֽא־לֹֽא־לאlō-will not הִפְנ֤וּהִפְנוּהפנוhip̄·nūturn back אָבוֹת֙אָבוֹתאבות’ā·ḇō·wṯThe fathers אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-for בָּנִ֔יםבָּנִיםבניםbā·nîmtheir sons ; מֵֽרִפְי֖וֹןמֵֽרִפְיוֹןמרפיוןmê·rip̄·yō·wnwill hang limp . יָדָֽיִם׃יָדָֽיִם׃ידיםyā·ḏā·yimtheir hands
