יִרְמְיָהוּיִרְמְיָהוּירמיהוyir·mə·yā·hūof Jeremiah פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter דָּלֶתדָּלֶתדלתdalɛtfour
7עָלָ֤העָלָהעלה‘ā·lāhhas gone up אַרְיֵה֙אַרְיֵהאריה’ar·yêhA lion מִֽסֻּבְּכ֔וֹמִֽסֻּבְּכוֹמסבכוmis·sub·bə·ḵōwfrom his thicket , וּמַשְׁחִ֣יתוּמַשְׁחִיתומשחיתū·maš·ḥîṯand a destroyer גּוֹיִ֔םגּוֹיִםגויםgō·w·yimof nations נָסַ֖ענָסַענסעnā·sa‘has set out . יָצָ֣איָצָאיצאyā·ṣāHe has left מִמְּקֹמ֑וֹמִמְּקֹמוֹממקמוmim·mə·qō·mōwhis lair לָשׂ֤וּםלָשׂוּםלשוםlā·śūmto lay אַרְצֵךְ֙אַרְצֵךְארצך’ar·ṣêḵyour land . לְשַׁמָּ֔הלְשַׁמָּהלשמהlə·šam·māhwaste עָרַ֥יִךְעָרַיִךְעריך‘ā·ra·yiḵYour cities תִּצֶּ֖ינָהתִּצֶּינָהתצינהtiṣ·ṣe·nāhto ruins מֵאֵ֥יןמֵאֵיןמאיןmê·’ênwill be reduced יוֹשֵֽׁב׃יוֹשֵֽׁב׃יושבyō·wō·šêḇand lie uninhabited .
