24אַ֣ףאַףאף’ap̄No sooner בַּל־בַּל־בלbal-. . . נִטָּ֗עוּנִטָּעוּנטעוniṭ·ṭā·‘ūare they planted , אַ֚ףאַףאף’ap̄no sooner בַּל־בַּל־בלbal-. . . זֹרָ֔עוּזֹרָעוּזרעוzō·rā·‘ūare they sown , אַ֛ףאַףאף’ap̄no sooner בַּל־בַּל־בלbal-. . . שֹׁרֵ֥שׁשֹׁרֵשׁשרשšō·rêštaken root בָּאָ֖רֶץבָּאָרֶץבארץbā·’ā·reṣin the ground , גִּזְעָ֑םגִּזְעָםגזעםgiz·‘āmhave their stems וְגַם־וְגַם־וגםwə·ḡam-than נָשַׁ֤ףנָשַׁףנשףnā·šap̄He blows בָּהֶם֙בָּהֶםבהםbā·hemon them וַיִּבָ֔שׁוּוַיִּבָשׁוּויבשוway·yi·ḇā·šūand they wither , וּסְעָרָ֖הוּסְעָרָהוסערהū·sə·‘ā·rāhand a whirlwind כַּקַּ֥שׁכַּקַּשׁכקשkaq·qašlike stubble . תִּשָּׂאֵֽם׃סתִּשָּׂאֵֽם׃סתשאםסtiś·śā·’êmsweeps them away
