בְּרֵאשִׁיתבְּרֵאשִׁיתבראשיתbə·rê·šîṯIn the beginning פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter זַיִןזַיִןזיןzajɪnseven
23וַיִּ֜מַחוַיִּמַחוימחway·yi·maḥwas destroyed אֶֽת־אֶֽת־את’eṯ-- — כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-And every הַיְק֣וּם׀הַיְקוּם׀היקוםhay·qūmliving thing אֲשֶׁ֣ר׀אֲשֶׁר׀אשר’ă·šer- עַל־עַל־על‘al-on פְּנֵ֣יפְּנֵיפניpə·nêthe face הָֽאֲדָמָ֗ההָֽאֲדָמָההאדמהhā·’ă·ḏā·māhof the earth מֵאָדָ֤םמֵאָדָםמאדםmê·’ā·ḏāmman עַד־עַד־עד‘aḏ-and בְּהֵמָה֙בְּהֵמָהבהמהbə·hê·māhlivestock עַד־עַד־עד‘aḏ-. . . רֶ֙מֶשׂ֙רֶמֶשׂרמשre·meścrawling creatures וְעַד־וְעַד־ועדwə·‘aḏ-. . . , ע֣וֹףעוֹףעוף‘ō·wp̄and birds הַשָּׁמַ֔יִםהַשָּׁמַיִםהשמיםhaš·šā·ma·yimof the air ; וַיִּמָּח֖וּוַיִּמָּחוּוימחוway·yim·mā·ḥūthey were blotted out מִן־מִן־מןmin-from הָאָ֑רֶץהָאָרֶץהארץhā·’ā·reṣthe earth , וַיִשָּׁ֧אֶרוַיִשָּׁאֶרוישארwa·yiš·šå̄·ʾɛrremained . אַךְ־אַךְ־אך’aḵ-and only נֹ֛חַנֹחַנחnō·aḥNoah וַֽאֲשֶׁ֥רוַֽאֲשֶׁרואשרwa·’ă·šerand those אִתּ֖וֹאִתּוֹאתו’it·tōwwith him בַּתֵּבָֽה׃בַּתֵּבָֽה׃בתבהbat·tê·ḇāhin the ark
