18וַיִּגְבְּר֥וּוַיִּגְבְּרוּויגברוway·yiḡ·bə·rūcontinued to surge הַמַּ֛יִםהַמַּיִםהמיםham·ma·yimSo the waters וַיִּרְבּ֥וּוַיִּרְבּוּוירבוway·yir·būand rise מְאֹ֖דמְאֹדמאדmə·’ōḏgreatly עַל־עַל־על‘al-on הָאָ֑רֶץהָאָרֶץהארץhā·’ā·reṣthe earth , וַתֵּ֥לֶךְוַתֵּלֶךְותלךwat·tê·leḵand הַתֵּבָ֖ההַתֵּבָההתבהhat·tê·ḇāhthe ark עַל־עַל־על‘al-floated on פְּנֵ֥יפְּנֵיפניpə·nêthe surface הַמָּֽיִם׃הַמָּֽיִם׃המיםham·mā·yimof the waters .
