בְּרֵאשִׁיתבְּרֵאשִׁיתבראשיתbə·rê·šîṯIn the beginning פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter וָווָוווvɔvsix
5וַיַּ֣רְאוַיַּרְאויראway·yarsaw יְהוָ֔היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehThen the LORD כִּ֥יכִּיכיkîthat רַבָּ֛הרַבָּהרבהrab·bāh[was] great רָעַ֥תרָעַתרעתrā·‘aṯthe wickedness הָאָדָ֖םהָאָדָםהאדםhā·’ā·ḏāmof man בָּאָ֑רֶץבָּאָרֶץבארץbā·’ā·reṣupon the earth , וְכָל־וְכָל־וכלwə·ḵāland [that] every יֵ֙צֶר֙יֵצֶריצרyê·ṣerinclination מַחְשְׁבֹ֣תמַחְשְׁבֹתמחשבתmaḥ·šə·ḇōṯof the thoughts לִבּ֔וֹלִבּוֹלבוlib·bōwof his heart רַ֥קרַקרקraq[was] altogether רַ֖ערַערעra‘evil כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-all הַיּֽוֹם׃הַיּֽוֹם׃היוםhay·yō·wmthe time .
