Genesis 44:20
בְּרֵאשִׁיתבְּרֵאשִׁיתבראשיתbə·rê·šîṯIn the beginning פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter מֵםמֵםמםmɛmforty דָּלֶתדָּלֶתדלתdalɛtfour
20וַנֹּ֙אמֶר֙וַנֹּאמֶרונאמרwan·nō·merAnd we answered אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-. . . אֲדֹנִ֔יאֲדֹנִיאדני’ă·ḏō·nî. . . , יֶשׁ־יֶשׁ־ישyeš-‘ We have לָ֙נוּ֙לָנוּלנוlā·nū. . . אָ֣באָבאב’āḇfather זָקֵ֔ןזָקֵןזקןzā·qênan elderly וְיֶ֥לֶדוְיֶלֶדוילדwə·ye·leḏthe child זְקֻנִ֖יםזְקֻנִיםזקניםzə·qu·nîmof his old age . קָטָ֑ןקָטָןקטןqā·ṭānand a younger brother , וְאָחִ֨יווְאָחִיוואחיוwə·’ā·ḥîwThe boy’s brother מֵ֜תמֵתמתmêṯis dead . וַיִּוָּתֵ֨רוַיִּוָּתֵרויותרway·yiw·wā·ṯêrsons left , ה֧וּאהוּאהואhūHe לְבַדּ֛וֹלְבַדּוֹלבדוlə·ḇad·dōwis the only לְאִמּ֖וֹלְאִמּוֹלאמוlə·’im·mōwone of his mother’s וְאָבִ֥יווְאָבִיוואביוwə·’ā·ḇîwand his father אֲהֵבֽוֹ׃אֲהֵבֽוֹ׃אהבו’ă·hê·ḇōwloves him . ’
