בְּרֵאשִׁיתבְּרֵאשִׁיתבראשיתbə·rê·šîṯIn the beginning פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter מֵםמֵםמםmɛmforty אָלֶףאָלֶףאלףʔalefone
48וַיִּקְבֹּ֞ץוַיִּקְבֹּץויקבץway·yiq·bōṣJoseph collected אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-all אֹ֣כֶל׀אֹכֶל׀אכל’ō·ḵelthe excess food שֶׁ֣בַעשֶׁבַעשבעše·ḇa‘During those seven שָׁנִ֗יםשָׁנִיםשניםšā·nîmyears , אֲשֶׁ֤ראֲשֶׁראשר’ă·šer- הָיוּ֙הָיוּהיוhā·yū- בְּאֶ֣רֶץבְּאֶרֶץבארץbə·’e·reṣin the land מִצְרַ֔יִםמִצְרַיִםמצריםmiṣ·ra·yimof Egypt וַיִּתֶּן־וַיִּתֶּן־ויתןway·yit·ten-and stored אֹ֖כֶלאֹכֶלאכל’ō·ḵelit בֶּעָרִ֑יםבֶּעָרִיםבעריםbe·‘ā·rîmin the cities . אֹ֧כֶלאֹכֶלאכל’ō·ḵelthe food שְׂדֵה־שְׂדֵה־שדהśə·ḏêh-from the fields הָעִ֛ירהָעִירהעירhā·‘îrIn every city אֲשֶׁ֥ראֲשֶׁראשר’ă·šer- סְבִיבֹתֶ֖יהָסְבִיבֹתֶיהָסביבתיהsə·ḇî·ḇō·ṯe·hāaround it נָתַ֥ןנָתַןנתןnā·ṯanhe laid up בְּתוֹכָֽהּ׃בְּתוֹכָֽהּ׃בתוכהbə·ṯō·w·ḵāh.
