Genesis 2:9
בְּרֵאשִׁיתבְּרֵאשִׁיתבראשיתbə·rê·šîṯIn the beginning פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter בֵּיתבֵּיתביתbɛttwo
9וַיַּצְמַ֞חוַיַּצְמַחויצמחway·yaṣ·maḥgave growth יְהוָ֤היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD אֱלֹהִים֙אֱלֹהִיםאלהים’ĕ·lō·hîmGod מִן־מִן־מןmin-Out הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ההָאֲדָמָההאדמהhā·’ă·ḏā·māhof the ground כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-to every עֵ֛ץעֵץעץ‘êṣtree נֶחְמָ֥דנֶחְמָדנחמדneḥ·māḏthat is pleasing לְמַרְאֶ֖הלְמַרְאֶהלמראהlə·mar·’ehto the eye וְט֣וֹבוְטוֹבוטובwə·ṭō·wḇand good לְמַאֲכָ֑ללְמַאֲכָללמאכלlə·ma·’ă·ḵālfor food . וְעֵ֤ץוְעֵץועץwə·‘êṣ[were] the tree הַֽחַיִּים֙הַֽחַיִּיםהחייםha·ḥay·yîmof life בְּת֣וֹךְבְּתוֹךְבתוךbə·ṯō·wḵAnd in the middle הַגָּ֔ןהַגָּןהגןhag·gānof the garden וְעֵ֕ץוְעֵץועץwə·‘êṣand the tree הַדַּ֖עַתהַדַּעַתהדעתhad·da·‘aṯof the knowledge ט֥וֹבטוֹבטובṭō·wḇof good וָרָֽע׃וָרָֽע׃ורעwā·rā‘and evil .
