בְּרֵאשִׁיתבְּרֵאשִׁיתבראשיתbə·rê·šîṯIn the beginning פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter יוֹדיוֹדיודjʊdten גִּימֵלגִּימֵלגימלɡɪməlthree
10וַיִּשָּׂא־וַיִּשָּׂא־וישאway·yiś·śā-looked out ל֣וֹטלוֹטלוטlō·wṭAnd Lot אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- עֵינָ֗יועֵינָיועיניו‘ê·nāw. . . וַיַּרְא֙וַיַּרְאויראway·yarand saw אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-that the whole כִּכַּ֣רכִּכַּרככרkik·karplain הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ןהַיַּרְדֵּןהירדןhay·yar·dênof the Jordan , כִּ֥יכִּיכיkî. . . כֻלָּ֖הּכֻלָּהּכלהḵul·lāh- מַשְׁקֶ֑המַשְׁקֶהמשקהmaš·qehwas well watered לִפְנֵ֣י׀לִפְנֵי׀לפניlip̄·nê(This was before שַׁחֵ֣תשַׁחֵתשחתša·ḥêṯdestroyed יְהוָ֗היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehthe LORD אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- סְדֹם֙סְדֹםסדםsə·ḏōmSodom וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- עֲמֹרָ֔העֲמֹרָהעמרה‘ă·mō·rāhand Gomorrah .) כְּגַן־כְּגַן־כגןkə·ḡan-like the garden יְהוָה֙יְהוָהיהוהYah·wehof the LORD , כְּאֶ֣רֶץכְּאֶרֶץכארץkə·’e·reṣlike the land מִצְרַ֔יִםמִצְרַיִםמצריםmiṣ·ra·yimof Egypt . בֹּאֲכָ֖הבֹּאֲכָהבאכהbō·’ă·ḵāhall the way צֹֽעַר׃צֹֽעַר׃צערṣō·‘arto Zoar ,
