עֶזְרָאעֶזְרָאעזרא‘ez·rāEzra פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter טֵיתטֵיתטיתtetnine
1וּכְכַלּ֣וֹתוּכְכַלּוֹתוככלותū·ḵə·ḵal·lō·wṯhad been accomplished , אֵ֗לֶּהאֵלֶּהאלה’êl·lehAfter these things נִגְּשׁ֨וּנִגְּשׁוּנגשוnig·gə·šūapproached אֵלַ֤יאֵלַיאלי’ê·layme הַשָּׂרִים֙הַשָּׂרִיםהשריםhaś·śā·rîmthe leaders לֵאמֹ֔רלֵאמֹרלאמרlê·mōrand said , לֹֽא־לֹֽא־לאlō-have not נִבְדְּל֞וּנִבְדְּלוּנבדלוniḇ·də·lūkept themselves separate הָעָ֤םהָעָםהעםhā·‘ām“ The people יִשְׂרָאֵל֙יִשְׂרָאֵלישראלyiś·rā·’êlof Israel , וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֣יםוְהַכֹּהֲנִיםוהכהניםwə·hak·kō·hă·nîmincluding the priests וְהַלְוִיִּ֔םוְהַלְוִיִּםוהלויםwə·hal·wî·yimand Levites , מֵעַמֵּ֖ימֵעַמֵּימעמיmê·‘am·mêpeoples הָאֲרָצ֑וֹתהָאֲרָצוֹתהארצותhā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯfrom the surrounding כְּ֠תוֹעֲבֹֽתֵיהֶםכְּתוֹעֲבֹֽתֵיהֶםכתועבתיהםkə·ṯō·w·‘ă·ḇō·ṯê·hemwhose abominations לַכְּנַעֲנִ֨ילַכְּנַעֲנִילכנעניlak·kə·na·‘ă·nîare like those of the Canaanites , הַחִתִּ֜יהַחִתִּיהחתיha·ḥit·tîHittites , הַפְּרִזִּ֣יהַפְּרִזִּיהפרזיhap·pə·riz·zîPerizzites , הַיְבוּסִ֗יהַיְבוּסִיהיבוסיhay·ḇū·sîJebusites , הָֽעַמֹּנִי֙הָֽעַמֹּנִיהעמניhā·‘am·mō·nîAmmonites , הַמֹּ֣אָבִ֔יהַמֹּאָבִיהמאביham·mō·’ā·ḇîMoabites , הַמִּצְרִ֖יהַמִּצְרִיהמצריham·miṣ·rîEgyptians , וְהָאֱמֹרִֽי׃וְהָאֱמֹרִֽי׃והאמריwə·hā·’ĕ·mō·rîand Amorites .
