עֶזְרָאעֶזְרָאעזרא‘ez·rāEzra פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter הֵאהֵאהאhɛɪfive
8יְדִ֣יעַ׀יְדִיעַ׀ידיעyə·ḏî·a‘known לֶהֱוֵ֣אלֶהֱוֵאלהואle·hĕ·wêLet it be לְמַלְכָּ֗אלְמַלְכָּאלמלכאlə·mal·kāto the king דִּֽי־דִּֽי־דיdî-that אֲזַ֜לְנָאאֲזַלְנָאאזלנא’ă·zal·nāwe went לִיה֤וּדלִיהוּדליהודlî·hūḏof Judah , מְדִֽינְתָּא֙מְדִֽינְתָּאמדינתאmə·ḏî·nə·tāinto the province לְבֵית֙לְבֵיתלביתlə·ḇêṯto the house אֱלָהָ֣אאֱלָהָאאלהא’ĕ·lā·hāGod . רַבָּ֔ארַבָּארבאrab·bāof the great וְה֤וּאוְהוּאוהואwə·hū[The people] מִתְבְּנֵא֙מִתְבְּנֵאמתבנאmiṯ·bə·nêare rebuilding it אֶ֣בֶןאֶבֶןאבן’e·ḇenwith large stones גְּלָ֔לגְּלָלגללgə·lāl. . . , וְאָ֖עוְאָעואעwə·’ā‘timbers מִתְּשָׂ֣םמִתְּשָׂםמתשםmit·tə·śāmand placing בְּכֻתְלַיָּ֑אבְּכֻתְלַיָּאבכתליאbə·ḵuṯ·lay·yāin the walls . וַעֲבִ֥ידְתָּאוַעֲבִידְתָּאועבידתאwa·‘ă·ḇî·ḏə·tāwork דָ֛ךְדָךְדךḏāḵThis אָסְפַּ֥רְנָאאָסְפַּרְנָאאספרנא’ā·sə·par·nādiligently מִתְעַבְדָ֖אמִתְעַבְדָאמתעבדאmiṯ·‘aḇ·ḏāis being carried out וּמַצְלַ֥חוּמַצְלַחומצלחū·maṣ·laḥand is prospering בְּיֶדְהֹֽם׃סבְּיֶדְהֹֽם׃סבידהםסbə·yeḏ·hōmin their hands .
