17פִּתְגָמָ֞אפִּתְגָמָאפתגמאpiṯ·ḡā·māthis reply : שְׁלַ֣חשְׁלַחשלחšə·laḥsent מַלְכָּ֗אמַלְכָּאמלכאmal·kā[Then] the king עַל־עַל־על‘al-To רְח֤וּםרְחוּםרחוםrə·ḥūmRehum בְּעֵל־בְּעֵל־בעלbə·‘êl-the commander טְעֵם֙טְעֵםטעםṭə·‘êm. . . , וְשִׁמְשַׁ֣יוְשִׁמְשַׁיושמשיwə·šim·šayShimshai סָֽפְרָ֔אסָֽפְרָאספראsā·p̄ə·rāthe scribe , וּשְׁאָר֙וּשְׁאָרושארū·šə·’ārand the rest כְּנָוָ֣תְה֔וֹןכְּנָוָתְהוֹןכנותהוןkə·nā·wā·ṯə·hō·wnof your associates דִּ֥ידִּידיdî. . . יָתְבִ֖יןיָתְבִיןיתביןyā·ṯə·ḇînliving בְּשָֽׁמְרָ֑יִןבְּשָֽׁמְרָיִןבשמריןbə·šā·mə·rā·yinin Samaria וּשְׁאָ֧רוּשְׁאָרושארū·šə·’ārand elsewhere עֲבַֽר־עֲבַֽר־עבר‘ă·ḇar-in the region west נַהֲרָ֛הנַהֲרָהנהרהna·hă·rāhof the Euphrates : שְׁלָ֖םשְׁלָםשלםšə·lāmGreetings . וּכְעֶֽת׃סוּכְעֶֽת׃סוכעתסū·ḵə·‘eṯ. . .
