16וַיָּבֵ֣אוַיָּבֵאויבאway·yā·ḇêSo He brought אֹתִ֗יאֹתִיאתי’ō·ṯîme אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-to חֲצַ֣רחֲצַרחצרḥă·ṣarcourt בֵּית־בֵּית־ביתbêṯ-of the house יְהוָה֮יְהוָהיהוהYah·wehof the LORD , הַפְּנִימִית֒הַפְּנִימִיתהפנימיתhap·pə·nî·mîṯthe inner וְהִנֵּה־וְהִנֵּה־והנהwə·hin·nêh-and there פֶ֜תַחפֶתַחפתחp̄e·ṯaḥat the entrance הֵיכַ֣להֵיכַלהיכלhê·ḵalto the temple יְהוָ֗היְהוָהיהוהYah·wehof the LORD , בֵּ֤יןבֵּיןביןbênbetween הָֽאוּלָם֙הָֽאוּלָםהאולםhā·’ū·lāmthe portico וּבֵ֣יןוּבֵיןוביןū·ḇênand הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַהַמִּזְבֵּחַהמזבחham·miz·bê·aḥthe altar , כְּעֶשְׂרִ֥יםכְּעֶשְׂרִיםכעשריםkə·‘eś·rîmwere about twenty-five וַחֲמִשָּׁ֖הוַחֲמִשָּׁהוחמשהwa·ḥă·miš·šāh. . . אִ֑ישׁאִישׁאיש’îšmen אֲחֹ֨רֵיהֶ֜םאֲחֹרֵיהֶםאחריהם’ă·ḥō·rê·hemwith their backs אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-to הֵיכַ֤להֵיכַלהיכלhê·ḵalthe temple יְהוָה֙יְהוָהיהוהYah·wehof the LORD וּפְנֵיהֶ֣םוּפְנֵיהֶםופניהםū·p̄ə·nê·hemand their faces קֵ֔דְמָהקֵדְמָהקדמהqê·ḏə·māhtoward the east ; וְהֵ֛מָּהוְהֵמָּהוהמהwə·hêm·māhand they מִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶ֥םמִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶםמשתחויתםmiš·ta·ḥă·wî·ṯemin worship קֵ֖דְמָהקֵדְמָהקדמהqê·ḏə·māhwere bowing to the east לַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃לַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃לשמשlaš·šā·mešof the sun .
