Exodus 34:7
שְׁמוֹת֙שְׁמוֹתשמותšə·mō·wṯnames פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter לָמֶדלָמֶדלמדlamədthirty דָּלֶתדָּלֶתדלתdalɛtfour
7נֹצֵ֥רנֹצֵרנצרnō·ṣêrmaintaining חֶ֙סֶד֙חֶסֶדחסדḥe·seḏloving devotion לָאֲלָפִ֔יםלָאֲלָפִיםלאלפיםlā·’ă·lā·p̄îmto a thousand [generations] , נֹשֵׂ֥אנֹשֵׂאנשאnō·śêforgiving עָוֺ֛ןעָוֺןעון‘ā·wōniniquity , וָפֶ֖שַׁעוָפֶשַׁעופשעwā·p̄e·ša‘transgression , וְחַטָּאָ֑הוְחַטָּאָהוחטאהwə·ḥaṭ·ṭā·’āhand sin . וְנַקֵּה֙וְנַקֵּהונקהwə·naq·qêhvvv לֹ֣אלֹאלאlōYet He will by no means יְנַקֶּ֔היְנַקֶּהינקהyə·naq·qehleave [the guilty] unpunished ; פֹּקֵ֣ד׀פֹּקֵד׀פקדpō·qêḏHe will visit עֲוֺ֣ןעֲוֺןעון‘ă·wōnthe iniquity אָב֗וֹתאָבוֹתאבות’ā·ḇō·wṯof the fathers עַל־עַל־על‘al-on בָּנִים֙בָּנִיםבניםbā·nîmtheir children וְעַל־וְעַל־ועלwə·‘al-and בְּנֵ֣יבְּנֵיבניbə·nêgrandchildren בָנִ֔יםבָנִיםבניםḇā·nîm. . . עַל־עַל־על‘al-to שִׁלֵּשִׁ֖יםשִׁלֵּשִׁיםשלשיםšil·lê·šîmthe third וְעַל־וְעַל־ועלwə·‘al-. . . רִבֵּעִֽים׃רִבֵּעִֽים׃רבעיםrib·bê·‘îmand fourth generations . ”
