אֶסְתֵראֶסְתֵראסתר’es·têrEsther פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter בֵּיתבֵּיתביתbɛttwo
9וַתִּיטַ֨בוַתִּיטַבותיטבwat·tî·ṭaḇpleased him הַנַּעֲרָ֣ההַנַּעֲרָההנערהhan·na·‘ă·rāhAnd the young woman בְעֵינָיו֮בְעֵינָיובעיניוḇə·‘ê·nāw. . . וַתִּשָּׂ֣אוַתִּשָּׂאותשאwat·tiś·śāand obtained חֶ֣סֶדחֶסֶדחסדḥe·seḏfavor , לְפָנָיו֒לְפָנָיולפניוlə·p̄ā·nāwhis וַ֠יְבַהֵלוַיְבַהֵלויבהלway·ḇa·hêlso he quickly אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ- תַּמְרוּקֶ֤יהָתַּמְרוּקֶיהָתמרוקיהtam·rū·qe·hāwith beauty treatments וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- מָנוֹתֶ֙הָ֙מָנוֹתֶהָמנותהmā·nō·w·ṯe·hāand the special diet לָתֵ֣תלָתֵתלתתlā·ṯêṯprovided לָ֔הּלָהּלהlāhher וְאֵת֙וְאֵתואתwə·’êṯ- . שֶׁ֣בַעשֶׁבַעשבעše·ḇa‘seven הַנְּעָר֔וֹתהַנְּעָרוֹתהנערותhan·nə·‘ā·rō·wṯmaidservants הָרְאֻי֥וֹתהָרְאֻיוֹתהראיותhā·rə·’u·yō·wṯselect לָֽתֶת־לָֽתֶת־לתתlā·ṯeṯ-He assigned לָ֖הּלָהּלהlāhto her מִבֵּ֣יתמִבֵּיתמביתmib·bêṯfrom the palace הַמֶּ֑לֶךְהַמֶּלֶךְהמלךham·me·leḵ. . . וַיְשַׁנֶּ֧הָוַיְשַׁנֶּהָוישנהway·šan·ne·hāand transferred her וְאֶת־וְאֶת־ואתwə·’eṯ-- נַעֲרוֹתֶ֛יהָנַעֲרוֹתֶיהָנערותיהna·‘ă·rō·w·ṯe·hāwith them לְט֖וֹבלְטוֹבלטובlə·ṭō·wḇto the best בֵּ֥יתבֵּיתביתbêṯplace הַנָּשִֽׁים׃הַנָּשִֽׁים׃הנשיםhan·nā·šîmin the harem .
