Ecclesiastes 4:16
קֹהֶלֶתקֹהֶלֶתקהלתqō·he·leṯof the Teacher , פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter דָּלֶתדָּלֶתדלתdalɛtfour
16אֵֽין־אֵֽין־אין’ên-There is no קֵ֣ץקֵץקץqêṣlimit לְכָל־לְכָל־לכלlə·ḵālto all הָעָ֗םהָעָםהעםhā·‘āmthe people לְכֹ֤ללְכֹללכלlə·ḵōl. . . אֲשֶׁר־אֲשֶׁר־אשר’ă·šer-who הָיָה֙הָיָההיהhā·yāhwere לִפְנֵיהֶ֔םלִפְנֵיהֶםלפניהםlip̄·nê·hembefore them . גַּ֥םגַּםגםgamYet הָאַחֲרוֹנִ֖יםהָאַחֲרוֹנִיםהאחרוניםhā·’a·ḥă·rō·w·nîmby those who come even later . לֹ֣אלֹאלאlōwill not יִשְׂמְחוּ־יִשְׂמְחוּ־ישמחוyiś·mə·ḥū-be celebrated ב֑וֹבוֹבוḇōw[the successor] כִּֽי־כִּֽי־כיkî-too גַם־גַם־גםḡam-. . . זֶ֥הזֶהזהzehThis הֶ֖בֶלהֶבֶלהבלhe·ḇelis futile וְרַעְי֥וֹןוְרַעְיוֹןורעיוןwə·ra‘·yō·wnand a pursuit רֽוּחַ׃רֽוּחַ׃רוחrū·aḥof the wind .
