17וָאֶתְּנָ֤הוָאֶתְּנָהואתנהwā·’et·tə·nāhSo I set לִבִּי֙לִבִּילביlib·bîmy mind לָדַ֣עַתלָדַעַתלדעתlā·ḏa·‘aṯto know חָכְמָ֔החָכְמָהחכמהḥāḵ·māhwisdom וְדַ֥עַתוְדַעַתודעתwə·ḏa·‘aṯ[and] הוֹלֵל֖וֹתהוֹלֵלוֹתהוללותhō·w·lê·lō·wṯmadness וְשִׂכְל֑וּתוְשִׂכְלוּתושכלותwə·śiḵ·lūṯand folly ; יָדַ֕עְתִּייָדַעְתִּיידעתיyā·ḏa‘·tîI learned שֶׁגַּם־שֶׁגַּם־שגםšeg·gam-too , זֶ֥הזֶהזהzehthat ה֖וּאהוּאהואhūthis , רַעְי֥וֹןרַעְיוֹןרעיוןra‘·yō·wnis a pursuit רֽוּחַ׃רֽוּחַ׃רוחrū·aḥof the wind .
