Daniel 6:13

13בֵּ֠אדַיִןבֵּאדַיִןבאדיןbê·ḏa·yinSo קְרִ֨יבוּקְרִיבוּקריבוqə·rî·ḇūthey approached וְאָמְרִ֥יןוְאָמְרִיןואמריןwə·’ā·mə·rînand asked קֳדָם־קֳדָם־קדםqo·ḏām-. . . מַלְכָּא֮מַלְכָּאמלכאmal·kāthe king עַל־עַל־על‘al-about אֱסָ֣ראֱסָראסר’ĕ·sārdecree : מַלְכָּא֒מַלְכָּאמלכאmal·kāhis royal הֲלָ֧אהֲלָאהלאhă·lā“ Did you not אֱסָ֣ראֱסָראסר’ĕ·sāra decree רְשַׁ֗מְתָּרְשַׁמְתָּרשמתrə·šam·tāsign דִּ֣ידִּידיdîthat כָל־כָל־כלḵālany אֱנָ֡שׁאֱנָשׁאנש’ĕ·nāšman דִּֽי־דִּֽי־דיdî-who יִבְעֵה֩יִבְעֵהיבעהyiḇ·‘êhpetitions מִן־מִן־מןmin-. . . כָּל־כָּל־כלkāl-any אֱלָ֨הּאֱלָהּאלה’ĕ·lāhgod וֶֽאֱנָ֜שׁוֶֽאֱנָשׁואנשwe·’ĕ·nāšor man עַד־עַד־עד‘aḏ-for יוֹמִ֣יןיוֹמִיןיומיןyō·w·mîndays תְּלָתִ֗יןתְּלָתִיןתלתיןtə·lā·ṯînthirty לָהֵן֙לָהֵןלהןlā·hênexcept you , מִנָּ֣ךְמִנָּךְמנךmin·nāḵ. . . מַלְכָּ֔אמַלְכָּאמלכאmal·kāO king , יִתְרְמֵ֕איִתְרְמֵאיתרמאyiṯ·rə·mêwill be thrown לְג֖וֹבלְגוֹבלגובlə·ḡō·wḇinto the den אַרְיָותָ֑אאַרְיָותָאאריותא’ar·yā·w·ṯāof lions ? ” עָנֵ֨העָנֵהענה‘ā·nêhreplied , מַלְכָּ֜אמַלְכָּאמלכאmal·kāThe king וְאָמַ֗רוְאָמַרואמרwə·’ā·mar. . . יַצִּיבָ֧איַצִּיבָאיציבאyaṣ·ṣî·ḇāstands , מִלְּתָ֛אמִלְּתָאמלתאmil·lə·ṯāthe order כְּדָת־כְּדָת־כדתkə·ḏāṯ-“ According to the law מָדַ֥ימָדַימדיmā·ḏayof the Medes וּפָרַ֖סוּפָרַסופרסū·p̄ā·rasand Persians דִּי־דִּי־דיdî-. . . לָ֥אלָאלאlāand it cannot תֶעְדֵּֽא׃תֶעְדֵּֽא׃תעדאṯe‘·dêbe repealed . ”
