Amos 1:5
עָמוֹסעָמוֹסעמוס‘ā·mō·wsof Amos , עָמוֹסעָמוֹסעמוס‘ā·mō·wsof Amos , פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter אָלֶףאָלֶףאלףʔalefone
5וְשָֽׁבַרְתִּי֙וְשָֽׁבַרְתִּיושברתיwə·šā·ḇar·tîI will break down בְּרִ֣יחַבְּרִיחַבריחbə·rî·aḥthe gates דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂקדַּמֶּשֶׂקדמשקdam·me·śeqof Damascus ; וְהִכְרַתִּ֤יוְהִכְרַתִּיוהכרתיwə·hiḵ·rat·tîI will cut off יוֹשֵׁב֙יוֹשֵׁביושבyō·wō·šêḇthe ruler מִבִּקְעַת־מִבִּקְעַת־מבקעתmib·biq·‘aṯ-of the Valley of Aven אָ֔וֶןאָוֶןאון’ā·wen. . . וְתוֹמֵ֥ךְוְתוֹמֵךְותומךwə·ṯō·w·mêḵand the one who wields שֵׁ֖בֶטשֵׁבֶטשבטšê·ḇeṭthe scepter מִבֵּ֣יתמִבֵּיתמביתmib·bêṯin Beth-eden עֶ֑דֶןעֶדֶןעדן‘e·ḏen. . . . וְגָל֧וּוְגָלוּוגלוwə·ḡā·lūwill be exiled עַם־עַם־עם‘am-The people אֲרָ֛םאֲרָםארם’ă·rāmof Aram קִ֖ירָהקִירָהקירהqî·rāhto Kir , ” אָמַ֥ראָמַראמר’ā·marsays יְהוָֽה׃פיְהוָֽה׃פיהוהפYah·wehthe LORD .
