9וַיֵּ֤שֶׁבוַיֵּשֶׁבוישבway·yê·šeḇtook up residence דָּוִד֙דָּוִדדודdā·wiḏSo David בַּמְּצֻדָ֔הבַּמְּצֻדָהבמצדהbam·mə·ṣu·ḏāhin the fortress וַיִּקְרָא־וַיִּקְרָא־ויקראway·yiq·rā-and called לָ֖הּלָהּלהlāhit עִ֣ירעִירעיר‘îrthe City דָּוִ֑דדָּוִדדודdā·wiḏof David . וַיִּ֤בֶןוַיִּבֶןויבןway·yi·ḇenbuilt it up דָּוִד֙דָּוִדדודdā·wiḏHe סָבִ֔יבסָבִיבסביבsā·ḇîḇall the way around , מִן־מִן־מןmin-from הַמִּלּ֖וֹאהַמִּלּוֹאהמלואham·mil·lō·wthe supporting terraces וָבָֽיְתָה׃וָבָֽיְתָה׃וביתהwā·ḇā·yə·ṯāhinward .
