13וַיֹּ֣אמֶרוַיֹּאמֶרויאמרway·yō·merinquired דָּוִ֗דדָּוִדדודdā·wiḏAnd David אֶל־אֶל־אל’el-of הַנַּ֙עַר֙הַנַּעַרהנערhan·na·‘arthe young man הַמַּגִּ֣ידהַמַּגִּידהמגידham·mag·gîḏwho had brought him the report ל֔וֹלוֹלוlōw. . . , אֵ֥יאֵיאי’ê“ Where מִזֶּ֖המִזֶּהמזהmiz·zeh. . . אָ֑תָּהאָתָּהאתה’āt·tāhare you from ? ” וַיֹּ֕אמֶרוַיֹּאמֶרויאמרway·yō·merhe answered . בֶּן־בֶּן־בןben-“ I am the son אִ֛ישׁאִישׁאיש’îš. . . גֵּ֥רגֵּרגרgêrof a foreigner , ” עֲמָלֵקִ֖יעֲמָלֵקִיעמלקי‘ă·mā·lê·qîan Amalekite . ” אָנֹֽכִי׃אָנֹֽכִי׃אנכי’ā·nō·ḵî“ I am
