29וַיִּהְי֣וּוַיִּהְיוּויהיוway·yih·yūNevertheless , עֹשִׂ֔יםעֹשִׂיםעשים‘ō·śîmcontinued to make גּ֥וֹיגּוֹיגויgō·wthe people of each nation גּ֥וֹיגּוֹיגויgō·wthe people of each nation אֱלֹהָ֑יואֱלֹהָיואלהיו’ĕ·lō·hāwtheir own gods וַיַּנִּ֣יחוּ׀וַיַּנִּיחוּ׀ויניחוway·yan·nî·ḥūand they set them up בְּבֵ֣יתבְּבֵיתבביתbə·ḇêṯin the shrines הַבָּמ֗וֹתהַבָּמוֹתהבמותhab·bā·mō·wṯon the high places . אֲשֶׁ֤ראֲשֶׁראשר’ă·šerthat עָשׂוּ֙עָשׂוּעשו‘ā·śūhad made הַשֹּׁ֣מְרֹנִ֔יםהַשֹּׁמְרֹנִיםהשמרניםhaš·šō·mə·rō·nîmof Samaria גּ֥וֹיגּוֹיגויgō·wthe people גּ֥וֹיגּוֹיגויgō·wthe people בְּעָ֣רֵיהֶ֔םבְּעָרֵיהֶםבעריהםbə·‘ā·rê·hemin the cities אֲשֶׁ֛ראֲשֶׁראשר’ă·šerwhere הֵ֥םהֵםהםhêmthey יֹשְׁבִ֖יםיֹשְׁבִיםישביםyō·šə·ḇîmhad settled שָֽׁם׃שָֽׁם׃שםšām,
