שְׁמוּאֵלשְׁמוּאֵלשמואלšə·mū·’êlSamuel אָלֶףאָלֶףאלףʔalefone פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter לָמֶדלָמֶדלמדlamədthirty
16וַיֹּ֣רִדֵ֔הוּוַיֹּרִדֵהוּוירדהוway·yō·ri·ḏê·hūSo he led [David] down , וְהִנֵּ֥הוְהִנֵּהוהנהwə·hin·nêhand there were the Amalekites נְטֻשִׁ֖יםנְטֻשִׁיםנטשיםnə·ṭu·šîmspread out עַל־עַל־על‘al-over פְּנֵ֣יפְּנֵיפניpə·nê. . . כָל־כָל־כלḵālall הָאָ֑רֶץהָאָרֶץהארץhā·’ā·reṣthe land , אֹכְלִ֤יםאֹכְלִיםאכלים’ō·ḵə·lîmeating , וְשֹׁתִים֙וְשֹׁתִיםושתיםwə·šō·ṯîmdrinking , וְחֹ֣גְגִ֔יםוְחֹגְגִיםוחגגיםwə·ḥō·ḡə·ḡîmand celebrating בְּכֹל֙בְּכֹלבכלbə·ḵōl. . . הַשָּׁלָ֣להַשָּׁלָלהשללhaš·šā·lālamount of plunder הַגָּד֔וֹלהַגָּדוֹלהגדולhag·gā·ḏō·wlthe great אֲשֶׁ֥ראֲשֶׁראשר’ă·šer- לָקְח֛וּלָקְחוּלקחוlā·qə·ḥūthey had taken מֵאֶ֥רֶץמֵאֶרֶץמארץmê·’e·reṣfrom the land פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖יםפְּלִשְׁתִּיםפלשתיםpə·liš·tîmof the Philistines וּמֵאֶ֥רֶץוּמֵאֶרֶץומארץū·mê·’e·reṣand the land יְהוּדָֽה׃יְהוּדָֽה׃יהודהyə·hū·ḏāhof Judah .
