שְׁמוּאֵלשְׁמוּאֵלשמואלšə·mū·’êlSamuel אָלֶףאָלֶףאלףʔalefone פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter כַףכַףכףχaftwenty בֵּיתבֵּיתביתbɛttwo
8כִּי֩כִּיכיkîIs that קְשַׁרְתֶּ֨םקְשַׁרְתֶּםקשרתםqə·šar·temof you have conspired כֻּלְּכֶ֜םכֻּלְּכֶםכלכםkul·lə·ḵemwhy all עָלַ֗יעָלַיעלי‘ā·layagainst me ? וְאֵין־וְאֵין־ואיןwə·’ên-Not one [of you] גֹּלֶ֤הגֹּלֶהגלהgō·lehtold אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-me אָזְנִי֙אָזְנִיאזני’ā·zə·nîthat בִּכְרָת־בִּכְרָת־בכרתbiḵ·rāṯ-had made a covenant בְּנִ֣יבְּנִיבניbə·nîmy own son עִם־עִם־עם‘im-with בֶּן־בֶּן־בןben-the son יִשַׁ֔ייִשַׁיישיyi·šayof Jesse . וְאֵין־וְאֵין־ואיןwə·’ên-Not one חֹלֶ֥החֹלֶהחלהḥō·lehhas shown concern מִכֶּ֛םמִכֶּםמכםmik·kemof you עָלַ֖יעָלַיעלי‘ā·layfor me וְגֹלֶ֣הוְגֹלֶהוגלהwə·ḡō·lehor revealed אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- אָזְנִ֑יאָזְנִיאזני’ā·zə·nîto me כִּ֣יכִּיכיkîthat הֵקִים֩הֵקִיםהקיםhê·qîmhas stirred up בְּנִ֨יבְּנִיבניbə·nîmy son אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- עַבְדִּ֥יעַבְדִּיעבדי‘aḇ·dîmy own servant עָלַ֛יעָלַיעלי‘ā·layagainst me , לְאֹרֵ֖בלְאֹרֵבלארבlə·’ō·rêḇto lie in wait כַּיּ֥וֹםכַּיּוֹםכיוםkay·yō·wmas is the case today הַזֶּֽה׃סהַזֶּֽה׃סהזהסhaz·zeh. . . . ”
