שְׁמוּאֵלשְׁמוּאֵלשמואלšə·mū·’êlSamuel אָלֶףאָלֶףאלףʔalefone פֶּרֶקפֶּרֶקפרקpeɾekchapter יוֹדיוֹדיודjʊdten דָּלֶתדָּלֶתדלתdalɛtfour
17וַיֹּ֣אמֶרוַיֹּאמֶרויאמרway·yō·mersaid שָׁא֗וּלשָׁאוּלשאולšā·’ūlSaul לָעָם֙לָעָםלעםlā·‘āmto the troops אֲשֶׁ֣ראֲשֶׁראשר’ă·šerwho [were] אִתּ֔וֹאִתּוֹאתו’it·tōwwith him , פִּקְדוּ־פִּקְדוּ־פקדוpiq·ḏū-“ Call the roll נָ֣אנָאנאnā. . . וּרְא֔וּוּרְאוּוראוū·rə·’ūand see מִ֖ימִימיmîwho הָלַ֣ךְהָלַךְהלךhā·laḵhas left מֵעִמָּ֑נוּמֵעִמָּנוּמעמנוmê·‘im·mā·nūus . ” וַֽיִּפְקְד֔וּוַֽיִּפְקְדוּויפקדוway·yip̄·qə·ḏūAnd when they had called the roll , וְהִנֵּ֛הוְהִנֵּהוהנהwə·hin·nêhthey saw אֵ֥יןאֵיןאין’ên[were] not [there] . יוֹנָתָ֖ןיוֹנָתָןיונתןyō·w·nā·ṯānthat Jonathan וְנֹשֵׂ֥אוְנֹשֵׂאונשאwə·nō·śêand his armor-bearer כֵלָֽיו׃כֵלָֽיו׃כליוḵê·lāw. . .
