26וַ֠יִּקְחוּוַיִּקְחוּויקחוway·yiq·ḥūAnd they took אֶת־אֶת־את’eṯ-- הַפָּ֨רהַפָּרהפרhap·pārthe bull אֲשֶׁר־אֲשֶׁר־אשר’ă·šer-that נָתַ֣ןנָתַןנתןnā·ṯanwas given לָהֶם֮לָהֶםלהםlā·hemthem , וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ֒וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּויעשוway·ya·‘ă·śūprepared [it] , וַיִּקְרְא֣וּוַיִּקְרְאוּויקראוway·yiq·rə·’ūand called בְשֵׁם־בְשֵׁם־בשםḇə·šêm-on the name הַ֠בַּעַלהַבַּעַלהבעלhab·ba·‘alof Baal מֵהַבֹּ֨קֶרמֵהַבֹּקֶרמהבקרmê·hab·bō·qerfrom morning וְעַד־וְעַד־ועדwə·‘aḏ-until הַצָּהֳרַ֤יִםהַצָּהֳרַיִםהצהריםhaṣ·ṣā·ho·ra·yimnoon , לֵאמֹר֙לֵאמֹרלאמרlê·mōrshouting , הַבַּ֣עַלהַבַּעַלהבעלhab·ba·‘al“ O Baal , עֲנֵ֔נוּעֲנֵנוּעננו‘ă·nê·nūanswer us ! ” וְאֵ֥יןוְאֵיןואיןwə·’ênBut there was no ק֖וֹלקוֹלקולqō·wlsound , וְאֵ֣יןוְאֵיןואיןwə·’ênand no one עֹנֶ֑העֹנֶהענה‘ō·nehanswered וַֽיְפַסְּח֔וּוַֽיְפַסְּחוּויפסחוway·p̄as·sə·ḥūas they leaped עַל־עַל־על‘al-around הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַהַמִּזְבֵּחַהמזבחham·miz·bê·aḥthe altar אֲשֶׁ֥ראֲשֶׁראשר’ă·šer- עָשָֽׂה׃עָשָֽׂה׃עשה‘ā·śāhthey had made .
